The Cult of Trump is gathering in North Carolina tonight. As has been opined before, the cultists are “like Deadheads, they follow him from city to city. It’s not like they’re growing in number.”
The faithful are there and the over the hill Catskills comic does not disappoint. He wows them with his golden oldies. Here is eight minutes smooshed together. I’ve been watching clips individually and this is as good a sampling as anything you will find.
Is the rally packed, you ask? I’m looking for tape from somebody there on the spot and have not found it yet. But we will persevere and if tape comes from the actual floor of the venue we will post it here.

I don’t think legislation moves along any smoother or faster if you scream at it. God I hope this woman doesn’t win a House seat. We’ve just begun to see the light of day with Madison Cawthorn not returning to Congress. Nobody needs this.
Although I will say, if she does get there, look for plenty of cartoons featuring Smith, Boebert and Greene around a witches cauldron — although you may see the exact same image with Harriet Hageman.

I didn’t realize he was coming to NC. I’ve felt kinda lousy for the past couple of hours and now I know why. Even a couple of hours drive away Wilmington is close enough for Trumpimness to spread out like an invisible cloud of toxic air!

Is he arrogant? I say yes and you I assume say no. Opinions can differ. But let’s go on
Was he born into wealth? Yes. As I’ve said that doesn’t necessarily consign someone into being either a good or bad person.
Did he get his million (and more) money from his dad to try and strike out on his own early in his adult life? Yes. We should all be so lucky as to have a rich father/mother who spots us that kind of money but Trump shouldn’t go around trying to paint a picture of a guy who came from modest beginnings and made a ton of money due to talent and hard work. Like say Mark Cuban who could buy him many times over, or Bill Gates who could buy all Trump has even at Trump’s bullshit inflated valuation for what to him (Gates) would be tip money.
Did Trump fail over, and over again in business ventures and even declare bankruptcy numerous times? Yes. And since I feel like piling on, why don’t you buy yourself a pack of Trump Steaks, a case of Trump Vodka, take a flight on Trump Airlines (it was called the Trump Shuttle as I recall), or get a degree from Trump University to name a few high profile business belly-flops. And THAT is the business acumen you and other cite as proof of his credentials? He was such a “great” businessman that no U.S. bank would wind up doing business with him. He had to turn to a foreign bank that has some departments with shady reputations. And Deutsche Bank has paid the HIGHEST (I forget how many billions) in penalties for money laundering they’ve been caught at and more such penalties might be on the way. Then there are those Russian banks, one of which his buddy Wlibur Ross headed up (to provide a patina of credibility to the west) in Crime and banks from inside Russia itself. And who knows how much got funnelled to him via Russian oligarchs? Not that Trump is the only major city (although NYC is the worst) to launder money via high-end real estate transactions. Okay, so he’s good at the money laundering business. Not exactly the kind of quality I think a President should have but clearly you differ.
He’s been credibly accused of multiple sexual assaults and even rape. Twenty or more that we know of. He bragged about the beauty pageants he owned and being to whenever he wanted walk into the dressing rooms and while talking about it give his “wink & nod, heh heh look what I’VE gotten away with) and bragged about catching not just young adult women but teens under 18 in their underwear or even naked! Not to mention openly lusting after his own fucking daughter which in my book makes him one sick fuckwad. Also, let’s not forget he’s a serial adulterer and while transitioning from Trophy Wife #1 to Trophy Wife #2, while the latter was his mistress making a huge fuss over installing her in Trump Tower as a public humiliation of his first wife! (who divorce records indicated he also raped) Not to mention his cheating on Trophy Wife #3 which we know happened. If you think there were only two you are sadly gullible. Anyway, that’s some real “Christian Values” there isn’t it? I seem to remember one of those Ten Commandments you conservatives are always trying to force every fucking building to have out front on giant stone tablets having one of those commandments saying not to commit adultery!
He was a fucking draft dodger. I have long since forgiven so many who during the Vietnam war dodged the draft via working the system in various way. What I haven’t and never will forgive are the CHICKHAWKS – the ones who dodged service in that war (and since) who talk up what tough guy super patriots they were and are. FUCK THEM, including Trump. But HE knew more than all the Generals! Yeah. Sure. The dumbass thought he could issue operational orders via twitter. And had no fucking clue about National Security and access to classified documents information or the handling of them. We knew all THAT shit early on, long before this current mess.
Our standing in the world. A couple of years in at the U.N. General Assembly (it’s that time of year) he tried adding a couple of stock rally lines about how awesome he was – and the room, the ROOM laughed in his face! But sit there and spout bullshit about he he made our country stronger. Even now with all the rebuilding of alliances that’s taken place the quiet questions our current President, our military leaders and diplomates get is something like “it’s nice that the U.S. is conducting itself normally again, and we all both need it and appreciate it but what happens if Trump or a similar Republican who believes in authoritarianism gets elected again?” They gave us a mulligan with Bush 43 but Trump changed the dynamic forever. We will NEVER, or at least for generations have the status we had before Trump as the undisputed leader of the free world, and the champion of self-rule by the people of nations instead of dictators and champion of human rights that we had before Trump.
So yes, the damage he has done to my country and the world affects me. And huge part of that is that if affects so many others including and especially in other countries that so desperately have needed us to be the country we were before Trump so much more. They have been hurt far worse. People are dying as I write this over in Ukraine, including those poor Russian concripts who wanted no part of Pootie’s dream but he’d have never dared try what he did if Trump hadn’t paved the way for him.
But contrary to what you might believe I don’t want him dead. No, I want him were he should have been long before he was President, in a prison cell wearing a cheap orange jumpsuit, sleeping on a prison rack and eating prison food. Sitting there day after day in a special wing for prisoners that require extra protection, and therefore isolated and having nothing to think about but how the hell did he wind up there. And having to, in those dark moments when even he is honest with himself admit it’s his own fucking fault!
If hating someone who should never have gotten anywhere near a major Party nomination, much less into the WH and spending his time there to enrich himself and avoid accountability for a lifetime of crimes, some of which were still within the statute of limitations makes me deranged to you you’re entitled to your fucked in the head opinion. Trump is a con man and a criminal one at that. Has been his entire adult life. I happen to be one of those people who believe there should be ONE system of justice that applies to us all instead of what we’ve always had which is one that comes down like a ton of bricks on most people, and another that’s far more lenient towards and forgiving of rich and/or powerful people. Nixon was a fucking choirboy compared to Trump. Nixon got off way too easy and I always feared we’d pay a price for that. We have in the flaming orange human shaped rectum known as Donald John Trump and if we don’t deal with him the way we should have dealt with Nixon then once again I’ll say how glad I am to have never had children. I’ve had a great time in my life being “Uncle Denis” – kids are awesome. But my heart breaks over the kind of country and world friends (and complete strangers for that matter) will have to exist in if people like you get your way and Trump or someone like him attains power again.
I say cut the head off the fucking snake and Trump IS the snake. It’s ironic he liked to cite that poem because he knew goddamn well HE was in fact the snake in the story and goober like you have been too fucking stupid to understand it. Getting one over on the suckers like that is as good as an orgasm to someone like Trump.
So, I will devote my energy to advocating for him to be brought to justice, to be held accountable. And to never attain actual political power again. At the same time I will fight to my dying breath to cut the legs out from under those in power who enabled him. And I will call out people like you who refuse to admit you got conned. Granted it was by a true master of the con but what the fuck does it take to see reality?

Wise up dude. The only reason he’s having these rallies is so he can glory in the adulation of his cult. The only reason he wants to be pres. is to stay out of jail for all the crimes he’s committed. If you can name one thing he accomplished during his term that benefitted all Americans, please do. He raised the debt ceiling by billions giving permanent tax breaks to those who don’t need it and temporary breaks (ending next year) to those who do need it; he managed let 80,000 people die from a disease he said would “just go away”; he did nothing to improve failing infrastructure except claim next week would be “infrastructure week”; he drained the coffers golfing at his resorts nearly every weekend after campaigning on how all Obama did was golf, golf, golf and how HE would never leave the WH (which he also called a dump) if he were elected; he put his son in law who couldn’t pass a security review in charge of just about everything and who used the opportunity to bail himself out of a bad real estate investment and whose peace negotiations in the middle east lasted 20 minutes. I could go on but you’d rather plaster of picture of the orange Julius’s head on Rambo’s body on your truck, wrap a confederate flag around your shoulders, wave a bible (that we all know tfg never read – he prefers Mein Kampf) and don’t forget to hold it upside down, and beat down people who aren’t exactly like you. Like Lil Blue Sock said, he wouldn’t piss on your head if your hair was on fire. He hates people who aren’t rich and famous and is using all of you to feed his ego and his bank account.
