Whether from her anchor desk of the Trump aligned One America News Network or her position on Trump’s legal team, Cristina Bobb has been one of the fiercest deluded proponents of the cracked notion that Donald Trump, though defeated by almost eight million votes, some how won the 2020 Presidential race.

“Bobb was present in the Willard Hotel “command center” where top Trump associates worked to prevent Joe Biden’s election from being certified on January 6, 2021.[10][11] The Washington Post reported in January 2022 that Bobb worked with Rudy Giuliani and other Trump campaign officials in December 2020 to execute a plan for Republicans in seven states to create fraudulent certificates of ascertainment to falsely assert Trump had been reelected.[12][13]
In July 2022, Politico acquired an email that Bobb sent on December 13, 2020 to several Trump attorneys and allies, the day before electors met across the country to certify their states’ election results. It discussed how the Trump campaign director of election day operations Mike Roman had spoken with teams in seven states Biden had won who were focused on the effort to appoint false electors. Roman reported developments to Bobb, who then relayed them to recipients that included Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, Boris Epshteyn and one-time Trump attorneys Joe diGenova and his wife Victoria Toensing.”

During the 2020 election, Bobb worked with others of team Trump to attempt to facilitate fake Trump electors being allowed to transfer their bogus votes to state officials.

And, prior to Trump being caught with thousands of classified documents in the FBI raid of his roach motel, it was Bobb whom Trump Lawyer Evan Corcoran looked to for help in manufacture a lie – convincing her to sign off on a document stating that a thorough search of the property for classified materials had been conducted…

“The former president was in the midst of an escalating clash with the Justice Department about documents he had taken with him from the White House at the end of his term. The lawyer, M. Evan Corcoran, met Ms. Bobb at the president’s residence and private club in Florida and asked her to sign a statement for the department that the Trump legal team had conducted a “diligent search” of Mar-a-Lago and found only a few files that had not been returned to the government.

Ms. Bobb, a 39-year-old lawyer juggling amorphous roles in her new job, was being asked to take a step that neither Mr. Trump nor other members of the legal team were willing to take — so she looked before leaping.

“Wait a minute — I don’t know you,” Ms. Bobb replied to Mr. Corcoran’s request, according to a person to whom she later recounted the episode. She later complained that she did not have a full grasp of what was going on around her when she signed the document, according to two people who have heard her account.

Ms. Bobb, who relentlessly promoted falsehoods about the 2020 election as an on-air host for the far-right One America News Network, eventually signed her name. But she insisted on adding a written caveat before giving it to a senior Justice Department official on June 3: “The above statements are true and correct to the best of my knowledge.”

Caveat or no, she knew she had no knowledge of a search being conducted.

And now, this stalwart of election misinformation has been place in charge of “Election Integrity” at the Republican National Committee…

Somehow, I feel no more surety about our elections…

The most frustrating part of all of this is not that Bobb now has a new platform for her lies and seditious activities, but that she, Trump and Corcoran are almost certain not to face charges about lying to the FBI… at least not before the election, and maybe not at all.

The RNC won’t be changed a lot at least.

Just a slightly bigger spigot of lies.

  2. Us old farts at least remember a well-known joke about “military intelligence” being a contradiction in terms. I think it’s safe to say a phrase that includes “GOP” and “Integrity” is in that same realm. GOP integrity on anything if a fooking joke.

  3. Dishonest Donald selects female lawyers,and,,apparently, judges for their looks, not their experience and expertise. I give you Bobb, Habba and Cannon as examples.
    Long hair? Check.
    Thin? Check.
    Pretty in a bland way? Check.
    Sexy ( but not too) in a way that appeals to13 year old boys? Check.

    I have been known to wonder if blonde, boringly pretty female Republican women were being cloned in the basement of the building housing Concerned Women for America’s HQ (Ann Counter was an early failure). I think they have moved on to brunettes.
