Time to get down to brass tacks and focus on what’s important because politics in this day and age is a matter of life and death. Yours and mine, specifically. Gone are the days of the Eisenhower Republican. If the general was alive, there would be no room for him in today’s Republican party. Eisenhower and his brand of Republicanism are gone with the dinosaurs. I’m not even sure this is the party of Reagan anymore.
What we have today are the avatars of greed and corruption flying their flag over the GOP logo. Their candidates are handpicked to do their bidding. J.D. Vance is the poster child for this proposition.
Not sure people are paying much attention to this but Mitch McConnell and Republicans are putting more than 30 million dollars into Ohio to try and save JD Vance. They pulled money out of other key states. This means that Tim Ryan is performing incredibly well and can win.

Let Tim Ryan explain the situation himself. He does it so well.

This is a soul crushing ad from an Ohio mom who lost her son to the opioid epidemic. Seriously, watch it and then donate to @TimRyan. We need him in the Senate even more than we need to NOT have JD Vance in the Senate. https://t.co/vxi8fhBC2e

Even Republicans don’t like this guy. That tells you everything you need to know.
NEW ads from the Republican Voters Against Vance campaign:
Jim from OH cannot support J.D. Vance.

Remember the starfish story? It’s wonderful. Let me share it.
A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement.
She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!”
The girl seemed crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference for that one.”
I don’t know if we can save democracy, but let’s do it the only way it can be done, one candidate at a time. Here’s a link to Tim Ryan’s website. If you can donate, do so.
Let me leave you with another inspirational quote, this one from Margaret Mead:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. In fact, it’s the only thing that has.”
The polls are in the narrow range of statistical probability so nobody knows. Let’s not sit here and watch, let’s do something.

Good money after bad, from the sound of it…I expect Vance will squander it like he has everything else in his campaign. Telling that McConnell would be focusing on THIS campaign. How many others did he just write off in the process?
Maybe they can get a loan from trumpenstein. Hey mitch. He doesn’t like you but let lindseypoo sasshay on down to the nursing home known as Florida to…uh…ask him. Tell him to bring his favorite kneepads. If he can’t find them, he can borrow teddy’s.
