With Noem’s rapid sideways move to the fabricated post of “Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas”, the job of Homeland Security Secretary suddenly opened up. Credentials for regime positions are: cultish loyalty to the self-styled Dicktator (required) with either proven criminality, clownish stupidity, or a combination of the two. When Markwayne Mullin was named as Dicktator Don’s nominee, I immediately went to the Brainy Quote site for appropriate section headings for this article.

While Markwayne happily demonstrates his stubborn and ardent clinging to his political MAGAism, this attribute has not been enough for House Speakers or Senate Leaders to consider him leadership material. Mullin hasn’t the first idea how to run a government department. He could barely manage to lead a small section within a department. In this respect, at least, he is an excellent fit for the regime. None of its Secretaries or Directors is in any way qualified for their positions, so at least he won’t be showing anyone up in the competency stakes.

But Markwayne Mullin ticks the required credentials box. No one is more mindlessly dedicated to the demented leader. He will make Dicktator Don proud.
Trump rates his lackeys on two criteria: loyal & photogenic. The women pass muster on both, for the most part, but some of the men fail on photogenic: RFK Jr and Stephen Miller, for example. All the men fail on Trump’s ultimate test, though: how they handle TV. That’s where their stupidity, shallowness and incompetence really show, as demonstrated in these appalling clips of Markwayne, anything ever recorded of Tommy Tuberville and Hegseth’s on-camera preening.
What I find interesting – and further evidence of his personal brand of stupidity – is that he’s really keen to be on camera despite his obvious ineptitude. He is a man capable of considerable manifestation in the realm of self-delusion.
How many Scaramuccis is this imbecile going to last?
Now that’s a very interesting question!
But, I think the answer may depend on Dicktator Don’s longevity – or lack thereof. I reckon he’ll get the shove from DickDon’s successor.
So the pertinent question may be: how much longer will DickDon last? Given his diet, obesity, and sedentary lifestyle, he should have expired long ago. I think he’s running on pure malevolence.
