Mikey Johnson has been in the news a lot recently. Now he has the House pissed at him because he is shutting the session down early, with nothing until time for midterms. There will be no time for votes on anything, whether regarding AI or other issues. May we please get a better Speaker? (Preferably Pete Buttigieg because he can be apolitical. Silly idea, yes, mentioned earlier this year.) Johnson’s wimpiness is getting old. Let’s mention not swearing in a new representative because she would be the 218th signature needed for an Epstein Files release. He eventually bowed to pressure, especially because people were in the middle of work that needed to be finished.
Johnson is ridiculously protective if something involves Trump. The House doesn’t matter much, but Trump does. We’ve had rage before. We’ve had intense actions before. But Mikery doesn’t think about his constituents. He doesn’t think about matters to be handled in the House. He just wants to shield Trump as much as possible. His energies go toward protecting his orange god instead of the country and the needs of the people.
Do you see Johnson doing anything for America? Because Trump isn’t for America. Trump is for himself. He can do quite enough to protect himself. Johnson needs to do his damn job. It’s challenging to figure out how to get Johnson to tell us what he’s going to do, and it usually isn’t his job. He does everything else *but* his job. He’s getting worse and worse. It’s been months that all he has tried to do is what Trump wants.
Here’s the kicker. There are two, possibly 3 if Massie can get the signatures, issues to address. We bet he’s closing the House early to prevent doing anything.

We potentially have another Epstein bill coming to force the release of the rest of the files.
Here’s the main one that Johnson seems to be avoiding. Articles of Impeachment for Hegseth. He *really* doesn’t want to deal with that. By closing early, he avoids the issue til Congress is back in session, and that’s weeks from now. We don’t exactly know why he wants to avoid it, but the people in the House apparently do. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) issued a brutal condemnation of Johnson. “For the TWENTY-EIGHTH day this year, Mike Johnson has canceled votes, this time to avoid voting on Hegseth’s impeachment,” Houlahan wrote in a social media post on X. “Do your job, Speaker Johnson, so we can do ours.”
SCORCHED. Johnson *isn’t* doing his job. He’s running. He’s hiding. He’s afraid of what the people of the House might do, especially regarding Hegseth. We don’t know much at this point about why he’s avoiding impeachment proceedings for Petey Boy. Perhaps it’s because it would make Trump look bad? Trump chose his ‘cabinet’ (and they’re all garbage), so Johnson has to protect them, too. Is leaving early to prevent votes because of actions against Hegseth?
They’re not going to go away, and it will fester until the House is back in session. Johnson is tap-dancing around, trying to deter certain actions. They’re not going to go away just because they are on a break, and could very well come back twice as hard when it will be around midterms. Then Mikey is going to have his hands full. Nice.
