His ad has done him nothing but harm, and we should enjoy it. Venues are cancelling planned appearances with him on his bus tour. Couldn’t have happened to a nastier guy. That ad should haunt him for the rest of his life. As a matter of fact, his mistake should be stuck in his head 24/7. We should very sincerely hope he loses. The state will go to hell.
Venues for planned Republican bus stops are getting flooded with one-star reviews if Ramaslimy speaks there. That’s extremely bad for business. Now, any of the stops planned before that ad came out cannot be blamed on the venue. There was no way to predict the backlash to that ad from Dr. Amy Acton’s birth mother. There was no way to predict the ad itself. It’s not exactly surprising that Vivek would stop that low.
There is nothing good about this man. We all know attack ads are politics playing hardball, and we would prefer they not be used. The Acton ad is damn near as bad as something Trump would do. No wonder Trump supports him. They’re 2 peas in a pod. What could be strange is that he is not a white male, and Trump is usually very derogatory about anyone who isn’t. So what does Vivek have on him? Seriously, now. Actual pedophile proof, perhaps?
It’s a pity we can’t dig up something to use in the same way, but against him. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. Actually, Dr. Amy Acton is definitely the better person for simply denying the ad and not running anything against Vivek. Will it help? Hopefully. We’re into the week before Election Day, and it’s “place your bets” time, because there are a whole bunch of races that could go either way.
There’s a lot of hope that the blue tsunami does indeed happen and we can show that we are going to do what we can to help the country. If enough people believe in and vote for Democrats, we’ll have a chance to correct some of the bullsh!t that is going on. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll be able to put some sort of leash and muzzle on Trump.
In the meantime, venues are being cancelled for Vivek’s bus tour. In today’s world, businesses need every customer they can get. Those one-star reviews are hurtful. But there are venues that have bailed out of being a stop. More power to them.
Vivek says he stands by that ad. Some of the Republicans up for re-election are condemning it. The president supports it. What the hell does that say? Nothing good, that’s for certain. And Vivek winning the gubernatorial race doesn’t mean he’ll be able to do anything in Washington. That’s one tiny moment of relief. But only one. What will he do for Ohio? Who knows? They don’t need someone like him. They don’t need a rich, smarmy governor. They need someone who will work for the state. Crossing more fingers for Dr. Acton to win!
Why is it so hard to find positive things to write about?
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love.
