This is, of course, talking about yesterday’s bonanza of stupidity, adding a “civilian” to a Signal Chat about war plans in the Middle East. We all know this was a mistake of monumental stupidity, and are very fortunate that The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg has morals, unlike the other members of that chat. We all know that they should NOT have been discussing this on Signal because that wipes conversations after a certain amount of time. We all know that this should have only been discussed in a secure, safe room. I use Signal myself because I can communicate instantly with friends around the world, some of whom are asking me what the hell is wrong with our President. I don’t have an answer for them.
So, we have a bunch of idiots running our country and have been slapped again with how much they don’t need to be there. But the Senate passed them through, some members under duress to do so, and now we have a circus. Since I already know this has made it to the UK, I’m expecting to have more people asking me what the hell is going on with our government. I have now “officially” decided to NOT be surprised for more than a few seconds about what these morons are doing. They are like orange cats, with only one brain cell to share among them. They don’t even get 3!
None of them has a brain worth discussing. Someone, anyone, should have *thought* about what they were doing with the whole thing. Someone should have thought that this didn’t need to be discussed in public, which is anything besides a secure room. I want to know whose idea it was to do this in the first place, because I’d like to kick them in the teeth. Good grief, people! The discussion was about WAR PLANS. Just the thought that someone could have been reading over the shoulder of one of the idiots in the chat makes me cringe above and beyond what they did!
This could have been disastrous in so many ways. What if one of them, like, oh, Tulsi Gabbard, had taken that information to Russia, or any one of our enemies, for that matter? We already know her loyalties aren’t with the US. But, she got passed through, again with some members under duress, and now she’s in a marvelous position to give away state secrets. *All* of these idiots were passed through, albeit JD “Can’t Keep His Mouth Shut” Vance who *never* thinks about what he’s saying. You know, like lecturing other countries at a security conference! Come to think of it, I don’t think any one of them had a complete background check, but they were told to ignore any “difficulties” and to pass them through. Damn!
The one small ray of light was that the Mango Mandarin wasn’t in on this chat. I don’t think he could have kept his yap shut either, or at least long enough for the attacks to start. I would guess he did the Picard version of “Make it so”, left it in his loyal subjects’ UN-capable hands to attend to the details, and went back to his golf game. He doesn’t do any work except signing a gazillion Executive Orders, anyhow. At least he hasn’t complained about getting cramps in his hand after signing all of them. But then again, it’s all things *he* wants, so he’s likely quite happy to do so.
We are so VERY fortunate that Mr. Goldberg of The Atlantic has morals. If he did not, again, like the rest of them, this would have been not just a disaster, but a MAJOR disaster. I’m not sure we could have recovered from it. Thank you, Mr. Goldberg. You may have been part of the “fake, corrupt media” but you did us proud yesterday. You showed what this country is *really* made of. Remember that. This might have been a rant.

As usual the principal clown, Orange Doofus, doesn’t have a clue. They should all resign, including him, but of course they won’t and they will have to be voted or impeached out of office — if the country makes it that far.

Coincidence? I agree with you. I think not. Especially because he was talking with Putin AT THE SAME TIME as Signalgate. Frightening! And Witkoff is in Putin’s pocket, too. As a side note, Ukraine is SO screwed.
