If Trump Wants To Destroy Iran, He Should Go Be Their President, says the picture.
He’s hinting at things again, and it seems to be getting worse. Trump cut a sojourn at Camp David short and went back to DC (with two golfers and a model) for reasons we don’t know yet, but my goodness, there are a lot of hints, and they aren’t good. For right now, it’s Same Story, Different Day, and will he follow through? It’s going to be war crimes if he does something major. And by the way, did you know the Houthis have taken over a different water choke point in the Red Sea? Here we go again with Iran leading the way.
This is both ridiculous and dangerous. Ridiculous because “here we go again TACO,” and dangerous because of nuclear bombs. He’s wanted to nuke Iran for months. We’ve all been praying and hoping he doesn’t. Or we hope someone in the lineup of steps that have to be taken in order to drop one. Please say no. Unfortunately, saying no could have its own sort of troubles, including a court-martial, at a guess. But it would be worth it if Trump tried it.
Annihilation of an entire country is a big deal. And again, what will the world do to us if he does actually drop one? If you start extrapolating, it gets pretty bad. For one, we could be looking at nuclear winter. For another, our president, and likely Hegseth as well, because he’s “managing” the war, will be arrested ASAP for genocide. For another, our allies will turn away from us, and we will be left high and dry. No one will want to have anything to do with us. Supply ships will abandon us. We can go on from there.
Remember, the face of America is Trump. People across the world know it’s Trump. And in this case, it doesn’t matter what the rest of the country does. If Trump drops a nuke, he’ll be the one for the first level, but the blame will also fall on us for not stopping him.
With gratitude for Raw Story:
Trump’s schedule change came shortly after the U.S. Embassy in Israel issued a security alert instructing Americans in the Middle East to “exercise heightened vigilance and be aware of potential flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions.” Also on Saturday, Israeli news network i24NEWS reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cut his scheduled U.S. visit short.
“There’s a TON of very obvious signaling taking place right now for imminent massive escalation against Iran. President Trump, just after Camp David, is returning early to the White House. Bibi Netanyahu is cutting his U.S. Tour a day early, cancelling the Texas leg, and flying directly back to Tel Aviv from New York,” warned geopolitical expert Brett Erickson on Saturday.
And from a second Raw Story article:
“The president described the current choices on the table as ‘wiping Iran out, letting them rot economically, or making a deal.’ He added, ‘My question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up, they better behave.’”
We do not like those options; no, we don’t. He’s serious. He’s TACOed before, but every time he talks about this and threatens Iran, the closer we get to the chance he will actually do it. Maybe I’m crying wolf again. But one of these times he’s going to order a nuke, and it’s worth preparing for it, at least a little. I would rather cry wolf than be caught unprepared. And we can fervently hope he TACOs this time, because the future looks grim if he does. Hopefully, I linked the correct Raw Story article to the correct quote. I am an American and Trump does not speak for me.
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
