This year, the Autumn Equinox comes as long anticipated relief to the relentless heat of the northern hemisphere summer. Officially, it begins on September 21, but the Furkids like to get in early, unless, of course, they decide to be fashionably late. The southern hemisphere is celebrating their Spring Equinox while hoping their upcoming summer doesn’t duplicate the heat waves that the northern hemisphere endured.
To celebrate the Equinox, the Furkids have chosen the magic fingers of Roger Williams to usher in their favourite Autumn anthem. Although this is entirely an instrumental recording, the melody — played at first by the orchestra then later taken up by the piano — is easy to follow and the team is confident new followers will manage very well! Regulars will perhaps remember this song from the year before. (This really is their very favourite Autumn song.)
