Y’all. This is bullsht. It’s not just Speaker Mikey Johnson trying to spin the Friday confrontation with The Instigator and tRump and Zelenskyy. It’s more people than that – all of which tried to paint Zelenskyy in a bad light for defending himself. What did they *think*, he was going to do, roll over and ask for his belly to be rubbed? Kneel and kiss tRump’s feet? He’s SAID he was grateful. That wasn’t the point. The argument was deliberately started.
From Mike Waltz: “We need a leader that can deal with us, eventually deal with the Russians and end this war,” Waltz told CNN’s Dana Bash on Sunday. “And if it becomes apparent that President Zelenskyy’s either personal motivations or political motivations are divergent from ending the fighting in this country, then I think we have a real issue on our hands,” Waltz said. Whaaaaaaaat? Come ON now! His motivations are to End The War. There’s nothing personal or political about it!
Then add in Little Marco: Rubio also went after Zelenskyy, who, he said on ABC News’ “This Week,” “found every opportunity to try to ‘Ukraine-splain’ on every issue.” How full of stuff and nonsense can you be? They are bloody well able to understand him and have before!
One last bit: And Lutnick cast Trump as “the peacemaker.” “He’s the peacemaker, and if Zelenskyy is not interested in peace, then he should go home and think about it,” he told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.” The top of my head is ready to blow off! He came over here to work out a minerals deal to work on stopping the war in his country against Russia. He was ready to meet the Mango Monster and get started on that deal. Ukraine is getting the short end of the stick. I doubt that DonOld will actually DO anything towards peace if he gets those rights.
Zelenskyy doesn’t want a deal where Russia gets everything they’ve taken at this point. They are in Ukraine lands and it belongs to Ukraine, not Russia! They deserve the right to have their country back. And I’m afraid that tRump will lean Russia’s way on any sort of peace deal. Therefore, a peace deal should include not only the US and Russia, but the EU and Ukraine. This would be a more *balanced* group.
Zelenskyy DESERVES a fair and equitable peace treaty. We don’t even know if Russia will follow it. They didn’t the last time so lip service is really about as good as it gets. He has been out there on the front lines fighting for his people. He hasn’t been hiding somewhere for safety. He knows *exactly* what’s going on. And his people support him because they KNOW he’s working for them. This argument was bullsht. The accusations were bullsht. He deserves much better than that. MUCH better. And the EU agrees!

Good Grief!
🤬 I have always been sickened by people who say we should run the US government like a business! It is not a business organization; it is a service organization! But, OK, let’s use the “run it like a business” theme. What kind of business? Don’t bother trying to define it here…nobody who says that ridiculous statement ever tries! How about “what kind of business leader do you want?” Clearly, MAGA doesn’t want good ones. They delight in reckless leaders who do not give shareholders a good ROI and childishly run any business attempts into bankruptcy! And then, predictably, they turn into cartoonish supervillains!
This morning on MSNBC, former Zelenskyy advisor Igor Novikov said the scene in the Oval Office on Friday reminded him of the laser scene in “Goldfinger.” Zelenskyy (Bond) is asking “do you expect me to talk?” And, every villain in the room responds “no Mr. Zelenskyy, we expect you to die!” No one in that room, besides Zelenskyy, had their minds on bringing peace to Ukraine. They wanted approval from Moscow (they got that) and a chance to personally enrich themselves by sticking their piggy snouts into mining Ukraine’s rare earth minerals!
A few days ago, Novikov reminded us that in 2017…Trump’s first disastrous term…he was trying to extort those same minerals from Ashraf Ghani in Afghanistan.* But, like the tremendously unsuccessful “artist of the deal” he is, Trump never considered the cost of mining in those mountainous terrains and he never convinced any mining companies to front that money! Now, Trump thinks he has better terrain and a better war to exploit! But, he still has made no effort to bring together mining company oligarchs in the US or Russia. He has a pipedream to beat China in these minerals and with his deal-making skills this will never happen. Neither will peace or benefits to Ukraine! But, Trump is lining up the usual suspects to blame instead of himself!! 🤬🤬

Businesses are designed and run to.maximize profits. If Trump.weren’t such a sh**ty CEO, he’d be taxing the rich out the wazoo. It would put a lot more money in the treasury without harming those who have the least money. But the government isn’t supposed to.make a profit, just to break even.
Unfortunately we have a president who seems to.hate democracy and checks and balances but loves thuggish murderers. As far as DJT is concerned, helping Ukraine doesn’t put any money in his or Elmo’s pockets, so why bother. And Donnie Dumbass as likely shot any chance to.get a good deal.on Ukraine’s minerals.
