Oh where, oh where has Josh Hawley gone, oh where, oh where could he be? Now isn’t that an interesting question? Seems like he’s mostly dropped out of sight. We don’t hear *anything* about him anymore. He’s turned into a lap dog like the rest of the GOP, just doing what the Confused Carrot wants and never a thought of his own.
Remember 4 years ago? He objected to Joe Biden’s legitimate electoral victory. He played a role in the peaceful transition of power. There is even a photo of him doing a fist pump to the crowds outside the building. He thought this was amazing, even after they breached the building and people had to be evacuated to possibly save their lives, but to get out of the reaches of the mob. But he wasn’t afraid? If not, why didn’t he go out to meet them? I don’t remember any sight of him while the insurrection was going on – just that damn fist pump which gave the rioters more impetus to get in. I was furious when I saw that picture. He thought it was so cool he had coffee mugs engraved with it. Where are those coffee mugs now? I have no clue. I hope Josh took a hit on getting those done so he came out with less money rather than more. But I’m mean that way.
His hometown newspaper is asking the same thing – where has he gone? Alrighty now. I went and did “the Google” and found a few things. He’s proposing jail time for anyone who downloads DeepSeek. Just how in the hell does he intend to do that? I’m seeing a lawsuit(s) waiting to happen. Idiot. Then there’s working with Bernie Sanders to keep interest rates 10% or lower. It would be nice, but that’s just not going to happen. Good luck with it (sorry Bernie). Oooo he’s happy about the Mango Mandarin’s Executive Order banning CRT in K-12 grades. So, that sounds nice but could have been banned critical race theory in schools. Same concept but easier to understand. What IS it with CRT that it’s getting banned? I know there’s an answer but can’t remember it off the top of my head.
I guess I am narrow minded or some such nonsense, because I don’t understand what his appeal is. He’s a jerk. Oyyyyy I just scrolled further down the Google page and GOOD GRIEF. He’s written (with a ghostwriter???) 2 books. Titles are Manhood (*snort*) and The Tyranny of Big Tech. Not interested because I’ll bet that first one is all about misogyny. I could look further into these books, but I don’t see the need to do so. Maybe I’m too picky (ha) but I like to read interesting things and these would not be interesting to me.
So, the fist pump very well could be his last hurrah. He’s not on the news anymore except for a quick blurb here and there. I honestly don’t remember seeing him in any major news articles since then. “The Google” has some notes on it but nothing of major interest. How the mighty have fallen, Josh. You had your moment in the sun and now it’s gone. Seeya.

CRT (critical race theory) is only taught in certain law school courses. It examines how racism can be embedded into society through laws. The right wing types have taken the acronym and used it to describe anything race related, including the Civil War, slavery, etc. We can’t have little children made to feel bad for being white, when they learn the bad things that were done by whites. Even though none of these things were taught to small children. You get the idea. They have taken it to mean anything they want, so they can use it against school boards, etc.

They got it banned in elementary schools in red states, which was easy since it was only offered at the college (post-grad, I believe) level anyway.
Been replaced by DEI as the right’s outrage du jour.
