Okay, y’all, you’ve heard me rant about the measles issue and this idiot, right? Well, Kathleen kindly sent me an article that has me *raging* again! Vaccines cause autism so RFK Jr says that the vaccines are a matter of choice – even when children are getting severely ill from having no protection, and some are getting ill from too much Vitamin A, which doesn’t cure it anyhow! Well, here’s the latest rampant stupidity!

RFK Jr’s favorite measles doctor is being lauded for continuing to treat children with measles *while he has it himself*!!!!!!! What in the hell is wrong with this picture, and RFK Jr, and Dr. Ben Edwards??  That’s DANGEROUS. That’s stupid! That’s …argh, I don’t have the words! And this guy is a doctor?? He’s using cod liver oil and medications designed for afflictions OTHER than measles (because THERE IS NO CURE). *deeeeeep breath* Okay, where was I … Ah.

RFK Jr is just getting more dangerous (and stupid) every damn day. He’s “not an antivaxxer”, but he tells parents they have a choice to make as to whether or not they vaccinate their children. Just with the measles issue alone, it started small and is getting bigger every day. And people can’t seem to see that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of “there is no” cure. I’m really damn glad my parents *did* get me vaccinated because the pictures I’ve seen of this make it look miserable. He and”Doctor” Ben Edwards are pushing things for cures, like Vitamin A, that do not work *and* can make things worse for those kids. I don’t know if adults can throw it off more easily or not. I’m glad I can’t find out.

How many more kids are going to get severely ill instead of just ill? How many more people can this spread to because of this doctor? Are we lucky enough that the adults *were* vaccinated so they can’t get it? At least they could *take care of* their kids. But this guy! “Edwards, by the way, owns Veritas Wellness, where members can pay $35 a month for access to a list of home remedies, a wellness community, education from the not-so-good doctor himself on unnamed topics, as well as discounts on “peace consultations,” “movement consultations,” wellness consultations, IV drips and, naturally, cod liver oil.” According to the website, “a divine appointment in 2011 opened his eyes to the fact that U.S. medical schools only teach a very narrow way of disease and symptom management with pharmaceuticals instead of disease and symptom resolution by addressing root causes. Veritas Medical was established in 2012 to try and truly help people by addressing root causes.” A divine appointment? lol, what? Well, if he’s in such good control of his inner self/body/whatever, how did he get measles?

Hooey! Bunch of HOOEY. And people believe this? Does no one have even a rudimentary knowledge of science? It does not work that way! All our advances in science and other fields (like virology?) get thrown away by this doctor. The “cure” can cause *just as much harm*. Not to mention, swanning around his waiting room and office while he doesn’t bother with a mask means *anyone* who wasn’t infected before could very well be now because it *hangs in the air* for up to *2 HOURS*. And if they get sick, how many more people will get sick, and continue to spread it, because it stays in the air for 2 hours?  Think about all the places an adult, who is carrying measles, can go to! Lawd, have mercy.

Let me add: “This man has been operating this clinic since 2012, which means it is very likely that Kennedy was well aware of his inane theories. This is what we are dealing with. People who can hear someone say “I’ve met God and God told me that germs aren’t real” and be like “Yes, this is a human person we should listen to about science. What an extraordinary healer!” instead of having them committed. What could possibly go wrong?” (Could we get RFK Jr fired?)

I apologize for all the caps in this piece but I couldn’t think of a way to emphasize how strongly this pisses me off and frustrates me – that people could *die* because of Robert F Kennedy Jr and “Doctor” Ben Edwards. If more people were vaccinated, measles wouldn’t be happening with the possibility of turning into an epidemic. It’s certainly spreading quickly. At least I know that you, the readers, know better than to think this is crap is true. That’s something! Ok, I can’t let myself get started again or my blood pressure will go through the roof (ha). Thanks for sticking with me!
