The erstwhile president is doing something that will hurt, not help, Americans.
(Rambling) DonOld has doubled down on his search for more money. Today he signed an order stating agencies should investigate plans for retaliatory tariffs. He needs to pay for the 2017 extension of his tax and other cuts. Well, at least he’s not slapping any in place … yet. America’s prices will continue to rise and get worse every time he implements a new one. I hope no one still believes he will bring prices down. That ain’t happening and it’s likely they never will, The people who voted for him are finding out about the lies, lies, lies.
And those of us who voted for Kamala, the right person, are getting caught in tRump’s mess-making of things that are happening, starting with prices. They’re going to climb again with the tariffs on steel and aluminum. The vendors really don’t have a choice about increasing them. They have to make a living too, so they need their supplies, no matter what the cost. There won’t be a way to NOT increase them. I’m already seeing price increases at the grocery store and I think it’s only going to get worse.
So next they are “making the government more efficient” by closing entire organizations that did a lot for this world but had “a lot of waste and fraud”. Can you prove that? Shuttering USAID was just bullsh*t. They didn’t actually find any waste, and in an odd way, this was DEI related, so it’s an even better reason to close it. That one pisses me off the most thus far, but this was just a drop in the bucket of all the slicing and dicing President Muskrat is doing. It kinda seems like Muskrat put the names of all the organizations in a hat and then he goes after whichever one he pulls out. This first one is probably getting a WTF from the rest of the world.
And by the way, have you noticed that E-yawn isn’t providing any information on the billions of dollars his companies are getting from the government? Have you noticed that “DOGE is transparent”, except it isn’t? He’s got his fingers in all of these organizations outside of the ones he’s shut down already. He’s going to find ways to wiggle out of the requests for his information. He could probably go to the Mango Mandarin and get him to sign an Executive Order that says he’s exempt or some such nonsense. Isn’t that interesting? Isn’t all of this interesting? (End ramble.)

it isn’t random at all. Elon is shuttering every agency that had an open investigation into him or one of his companies.
