The Funday Furkids team wants everyone up and dancing this week. It started with a couple of them enthusing over an Eydie Gormé song they’d recently heard. Then they played it for the others and before long they were all up and jiving about! That settled it. This week we’re blaming it on the bossa nova!
I poured a cup of coffee and sat down to grin at this wonderful piece! Sooo kewt!!! I love the lions and the moon and I love the bobcats. And all the rest are great, too. Our own little animal epics right here every Sunday on PZ.
Another masterpiece. Thanks for brightening my day.
{{{Michelle}}} – I think I was 12 when this song was released. ? It’s always been a fun song. I’m glad the furkids decided they wanted to do it. Skritches to Ms. Loula & moar {{{HUGS}}} to you.
After a week of rain, Ms Loula is exploring her outside domain this morning. Will pass on scritches when she returns indoors. Hugs to you and scritches for the clowder!
I thought the doggie bride and groom were especially cute! It looks like the groom is giving her a little side-eye.
It was the side-eye that sold me on that pic!
(((((((Michelle)))))))) I have loved this song since early childhood, and this illustration is fantastic! Thanks so much for the dancing furkids!
You’re very welcome!
I remember the song! Wonderful fun.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! For me, it was like a happy dance down memory lane!
It is my pleasure. The Funday Furkids team motto is to finish your week with a happy grin!
Oh, this was great fun! Thank you!!
We aim to make everyone’s weekend a bit more fun!
Eydie was my second wife’s cousin. She could also belt a song in a great Ethel Merman style!
She and my mother were born and died within days of each other, in August of 1928 and August of 2013.
Lovely lady.
What extraordinary coincides. A fascinating story too. Thank you for sharing.
