Or, maybe it’s hopeless and the next thing you know Trump will be appearing on balconies in his pajamas, talking about the “rigged election” from there.

As you may have read yesterday in the Washington Post, Trump is “fixated” on the Arizona audit. America has moved forward, Joe Biden has made exemplary progress with vaccinations and his platform is being likened to FDR’s — yet Trump is oblivious, he thinks he’s going to be back in office just any minute now.
This would be plenty insane on its face, but for the fact that this idea is promulgated and amplified every day by conspiracy theorists.

You are not the first to ask, nor probably the last. Trump may well do this schick on some regular TV show of the future. OAN and Newsmax have supposedly discussed it, and he already does a similar thing on Fox News from time to time.
If so, he’s going about it the wrong way. Usually, comedians try to perfect their routines by tossing the stuff that DOESN’T work (no matter how great they personally think it is or how many ways they’ve reworded it). Trump just keeps throwing out the same old crap with the same delivery and it’s just not working with the masses (and you don’t get work just by peppering the audience with your friends because the friends can’t show up every single time).
Putting our country into the hands of a completely insane person is NOT a good plan for any party or Citizen of these United States …
There are prisons for insane and dangerous criminals, multiple hurricane fence rows in the yards topped with razor wire …
Trump seems to be laying out a reason to NOT to send him to regular prisons, but apparently, no one told him about those other places, where he would be sharing a mess hall with, “clients”, that drool half their meals and shout and holler randomly … he might even get a personal tour of the, padded cells, where he can rant all he wants and not bother the other, “clients”, …
He is walking a thin line right now, mindless non-sensical drivel, maybe a family member could admit him to a hospital for examination and evaluation … nah, he would, “Pass any test with flying colors”,.
Why do you keep assuming a rational, well-thought-out plan when the evidence continues to show a lack of such?
Of course there will be thousands of votes discovered and thousands more invalid ones.
After all, aren’t those two upright and sensible organisations, OAN and Qanon both involved in the recount? And they have ninjas to guard the count.
Yeah, with OAN and QAnon and that former GOP rep, who was at the Capitol riot, counting the ballots — what could go wrong?
The better comparison would be Robert De Niro in Raging Bull, a bloated wreck of a man who has made a mess of his life and has nothing but a pathetic sideshow to keep him afloat. The real Jake LaMotta admitted to being upset on how bad Raging Bull made him look. Then he realized that was the truth: “That’s how it was. I was a no-good bastard.” Trump will end his days without even THAT much enlightenment.
