Perhaps the Editor will explain to this senior female the phrase ‘ lay wood ‘ –
Males are often referred to in derogatory Female terms as pussies, cunts, bitches. Now magically we lowly females can ‘ lay wood ‘.
I don’t think the phrase has any sexual connotation unless corporal punishment is your thing; it refers to paddling.
