This time is just grand! Ok, yes, Hegseth excels at doing badly and making a mess no matter what it is. He falls with such … grace. Something. This one will cut his ego to the quick, because, as always, someone will make sure he “accidentally” finds out about it. Oh, to be the proverbial fly on the wall…..
Someone decided to have some fun with a poll. They chose 9 men and asked questions to see whether the person is a good role model. Oh, were the results a surprise! You see, we all know Hegseth is obsessed with being a manly man and having manly traits. Hence, we get the abuse of our military with testosterone testing (really?) and no beards. He prances and preens and tries to prove he is the essence of masculinity. So, what is that makeup studio for?
He refuses to believe that women can do just as well as men in the military (if not better than some of them). He spouts off about “fatties”, which isn’t going to give him any points. There are better ways than screaming and yelling. Yes, it’s the military, discipline, and all that. But there are still better ways.
But back to that list of 9 men. Hegseth was ranked 8th of 9. The only person lower than him was Trump. That makes it entertaining, to say the least. Almost as low as Trump. Heh. Hegseth tries so hard to demonstrate he’s a macho, manly man, so he should be a good role model, right? No. The impression overall from the survey is that he’s a poor role model. Less than 40% saw him as a good one. Less than 38% saw Trump as a good model. Perhaps the other half of the country is opening their eyes. Trump is not a role model AT ALL.
Buuuut, there’s someone in this survey who is going to burn Petey Boy and Donnie. Obama was the highest ranking for a role model at 59%, *and* that includes 28% of Trump voters. Ho, ho, ho. Regretfully, Gavin Newsom did not do as well as might have been expected. Well, damn. Kinda partial to that man. Y’know, Senator Kelly would probably have done well, too.
This was interesting. All the details of the survey were not available, so there are no specifics on how the ranking was determined. That’s a pity, but nevertheless, the results were entertaining. And there is your one-trick pony for the evening. Hopefully, you will also be entertained.
