He’s been slapped down by the courts time and time again, but he keeps trying. Even MAGA is starting to see how pitiful he is. And MAGA also knows he’s trying to hide the Epstein files. President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice has sent out a new wave of subpoenas related to the FBI’s investigation of Trump’s ties to the Russian government in 2016, according to a new report. This marks the second time the administration has sought to re-litigate the 2016 Russia investigation in the court of public opinion. Last November, the administration subpoenaed former members of the U.S. intelligence community over their actions during the Russia investigation. The new round of subpoenas seeks information about the intelligence community’s actions in compiling an intelligence assessment of the election, The Associated Press reported.
Good grief. That’s a decade ago. He’s still sore about it. What’s the point? Wasting people’s time and money? Blondi’s already skating on thin ice, and now she’s supposed to do this? It’s a waste of the DoJ’s time and money, too. It’s done. They didn’t arrest Trump, unfortunately. Mr. Mueller provided a report stating yes, Russia interfered, but nothing about Trump asking them to do so. He presented facts, not hearsay. Trump doesn’t need to be bringing this up again. He’s in enough hot water as it is.
“The subpoenas represent continued investigative activity in one of several criminal inquiries the Justice Department has undertaken into Trump’s political opponents,” according to the report. “An array of former intelligence and law enforcement officials have received subpoenas, and lawyers for former CIA Director John Brennan, who helped oversee the drafting of the assessment, have said they have been informed he is a target but have not been told of any ‘legally justifiable basis for undertaking this investigation.'”
Yup, Blondi and Trump are full of hooey. There’s no legal basis for it. There’s no *need* for it. But he can’t stop trying for revenge. It’s the only thing he’s remembering these days. He certainly doesn’t do well at remembering anything else. Look at his recent speeches. They’re all drivel, and he can’t keep on topic. But Trump has to go after his ‘enemies’. *yawn*
Trump’s DOJ is also seeking to change the narrative about the 2020 general election. Last month, Trump’s FBI and the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, raided the election office in Fulton County, Georgia, and retrieved roughly 700 boxes of materials related to the 2020 election, including the county’s voter rolls and hard copies of the ballots. Elections experts have warned that the administration could use the data to meddle in future elections.
And they most certainly will. Trump doesn’t like being told no. Trump doesn’t like being forced into a mug shot. Trump doesn’t like people standing up to him. And they will go through that data with a fine-toothed comb to see how they can use it. This should not give us warm, fuzzy feelings of confidence. We should worry. That county is right next to mine.
