We’re going to find out again how stupid the electorate is, that is whether it chooses to believe that Donald Trump will start shelling out $5,000 checks in the eventuality that the Republicans win both chambers of Congress next month. If this works out for Trump, he needs to start selling some bridges.

What’s that you say? Whatever happened to the DOGE checks? Well, there is that certainly, but you don’t think Trump would lie about something like this, do you?
The part that bothers me is that he’s setting up an upcoming depression, which is a certainty if the Republicans win. His magic trick, if he can perform it, is to get people to vote Republican, yet blame the out-of-power Democrats for it. He will find a compromise in blaming the newly empowered Democrats for everything he has screwed up since he’s been back in office.
Things are about to get a lot crazier, no matter what happens at the ballot box.
