Well, who saw this coming? (Haha) Donald Trump is p*ssed off because he’s going to lose tens of millions and possibly hundreds of millions of dollars, thanks to the civil cases he’s dealing with. And frankly, tough toodles if he’s mad. He brought this on himself, even if, at least according to him, he never does anything wrong. But appearing in an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Monday, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman is fit to be tied at the possibility of losing so much money, Raw Story reports.

Yes, of course, Trump is fuming that a jury awarded author E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million in her defamation suit against him and of course, he’s set to face additional civil damages in upcoming cases. Haberman suspects Trump believed this would be a good opportunity to campaign but it’s turned out to be an expensive one.

“i believe he’s looked at all these court stops as part of his campaign, because he’s seen some political benefit for lumping them together,” Haberman told Blitzer. “this was a civil case. Then there are the four criminal cases, but for a lot of his voters, they’re indistinguishable one from th other. i do think it was a rallying cry for his base, in part. But i also think this did involve a financial judgment, and i think that he thought he was going to show up and try to sell the jury essentially. it obviously did not work.”

When it comes to all the money he’ll have to fork over to Carroll, there was a really simple solution. It’s called “keep your trap shut.” Had he done that, he’d have saved $83.3 million. But that’s now he rolls and he’s f*cked around and found out. And he deserves no less than that.

Blitzer observed, “As you know, the jury awarded Carroll more than $83 million, and it’s only one of several legal battles facing him. The Trump Organization, for instance, could soon be on the hook for hundreds of millions of dollars. What kind of impact is this judgment, and the potential for more, having on Trump?”

“Trump never likes parting with money, and so there is no way he’s happy at the moment, either about the E. Jean Carroll verdict or the fact that he is going to have to pay some penalty in the civil fraud trial,” Haberman said. “Exactly what it means for his company and personal finances, we don’t know, but it doesn’t mean anything good. This is a lot of liquid, a lot of questions about how much cash on hand Trump actually has.”

Haberman added he may not have to pony up all of the money at once, but “With Carroll, he will have to put something up while he’s appealing, but it will be costly.”

So has this fool, who may be our next president, finally learned his lesson? Only time will tell but the Truth Social silence is nice, isn’t it?

    I’m going with no.

He loves that story about the frog and scorpion, and he’s never learned anything new since he was eight.

    He can’t help himself.

    • He’s always loved doing his “snake poem” schtick on the campaign trail, and the MAGA goobers are too fucking stupid to realized TRUMP is the snake, and can’t see how much he’s getting off on conning them and inside laughing at them for being so fucking stupid as to not get it!
