For two days, Trump has taken his anger at the Manhattan D.A. out on Stormy Daniels, who is as brave as any woman outside our armed forces. Stormy was a porn star, one check mark against her at least by most of society, and a woman going up against the president of the United States, and – unbeknownst to her, she had the shittiest lawyer available. She came out the victor anyway, at least in lasting damage if not financially.

People who have been reading my coverage of the saga over the last three days know that I refuse to disparage her or her work as I find it more honest than anything Trump does to acquire money.

Two days ago, Trump opened it up with the “horse face” comment, blaming the entire matter on the Manhattan D.A. who is “ignoring murders and rape” and going after something so old.”

Yesterday, he threw Michael Cohen overboard. From Mediaite:

“With respect to the ‘Stormy’ nonsense, it is VERY OLD & happened a long time ago, long past the very publicly known & accepted deadline of the Statute of Limitations. I placed full Reliance on the JUDGEMENT & ADVICE OF COUNCIL, who I had every reason to believe had a license to practice law, was competent, & was able to appropriately provide solid legal services. He came from a good law firm, represented other clients over the years, & there was NO reason not to rely on him, and I did.

Stormy had had enough and – as has been her M.O. the entire time in dealing with Trump, and all that power, she fired back with a grammar lesson!:

“Thanks for just admitting that I was telling the truth about EVERYTHING. Guess I’ll take my ‘horse face’ back to bed now, Mr. former ‘president.’ Btw, that’s the correct way to use quotation marks,”

And finally, this is right on the edge. But why not? She isn’t giving an inch and wanted to get under his skin:

Atta girl. Her bravery led to the entire investigation of the Trump Organization, which was found guilty of tax evasion (as a company) and now faces sentencing along with another civil suit and a referral to the IRS. Given that you can’t throw a company in jail, Trump will have to get the checkbook out, perhaps facing bankruptcy, depending on the fine and how he can keep the most personal assets.

I am a Stormy fan despite not seeing any of her work.

  1. 45 told the truth. He didn’t have an ‘affair” with her while Melania was pregnant. She was paid. Ewwwwwww. That’d probably be the only to do “you know what” with “you know who.” But…..what he did was illegal with the hush $$.

    • The word “affair” does have a meaning beyond the “romantic/sexual” idea.

Notably, “matter, concern” or “a procedure, action, or occasion only vaguely specified” or “a matter occasioning public anxiety, controversy, or scandal.” (All definitions courtesy Merriam-Webster)

BUT . . . . I don’t really think the seriousness of the relationship (long-term affair or series of one-night stands or random paid porn star) makes much difference when it comes to “cheating on one’s spouse” (unless each spouse has made a list of acceptable “cheats”). Melania didn’t file for divorce because she expected a longer return on investment.

She’s probably regretting that decision now (and, probably been regretting it for the last decade).

      • Melania clearly thinks there’s MORE money waiting for that fat fu$k to die than divorce him. My guess would be she doesn’t care who he nails as long as she doesn’t have to. She got her anchor baby and now doesn’t have to do shit for the rest of her life. When she bails, you know the inheritance is less than the prenup.

  2. She has more integrity than the entire Guns Over People party who take it up the arse from their puppet masters and trade their honor for thirty pieces of silver.

    • While I agree that Marjie does bear a striking resemblance to Bojack Horseman, I really think it’s not nice to insult horses by comparing their regal beauty to that face of Marjie’s.

      • Horses are indeed among the most beautiful species in creation. But context is everything. A horse’s face doesn’t look any better on a human than a human face would i a horse. If I were a horse this would not insult me. Now, if I were a horse and he had compared my intelligenct to that of MTG, I would indeed be insulted. She is dumber than a cuttlefish.

  3. You are SO on target here, Stormy may have come from a life of porn, but look how well she is doing compared to the flatulated mouthed gasbag in Mar-o-golf … Trump is SO unstable now it is a beautiful sight …

His luck is so bad now that the rugs are not only pulled out under him, but rolled up and stored for the the rest of the year …

  4. I’m with you Jason regarding Stormy’s profession. Prostitutes have been around for thousands of years and they serve a useful purpose. Imagine how many of those creepy, horny, crazed mass murderers may have been “saved” by some poontang.
Seriously, I could never do it but I appreciate their place in society.

  5. I have been in relationships with so called pros. They are far more honest and if they care about you they really care. Overall the reasons are many but usually leads back to abuse by a loving relative or two. And after all we all pay for it one way or another.
