This is read between the lines time. Katie Zacharia appeared on Sean Hannity’s show on Thursday in what has been characterized as an epic flame out of an interview. This is on top of the epic flame out of her press conference on Tuesday. Hannity went right to the point of Zacharia’s misrepresentation of herself as ae lawyer.

Her defense is basically hogwash. Calling oneself a lawyer or an attorney conveys the idea that you are able to legally practice law and you may not legally practice law without a license to do so. Period. Even Hannity got down on Zacharia for that and he was right, few, if any people, see a distinction between lawyer and attorney. Bottom line, you need a license to call yourself either. Until then you are merely a J.D., which is Doctor of Jurisprudence, which is a good credential to have.
Hannity made Zacharia look bad in his 1:57 inteview and it’s been speculated that that order came from the top.
So is Zacharia going to end up toast and soon? If she does end up toast it will be very soon, I think. The bad press conference was one thing, the misrepresentation of herself as a lawyer is a lot bigger thing.

Zacharia will either be gone or she’ll have a chance to go forward and prove herself in the job, but this slap on the wrist by Hannity is not a good omen. Not one bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was gone tomorrow.
