This is really happening. We have Donald Trump back in the White House and Katie Zacharia now accompanies him and Natalie Harp wherever they go. Zacharia was hired to troll the press corp, a job which Karoline Leavitt did to Trump’s satisfaction with her “machine gun lips” but Zacharia’s only real “talent” is to pitch like Bagdad Bob how great Trump is.

Zacharia is a one trick pony and you just caught her act. She’s no doubt supposed to grow into the job but that may not be possible. She’s already got one black eye over the issue of being a licensed attorney or not. She is not, which means that she has lied copiously on TV all the times she has claimed to be a lawyer.
But that’s not what will sink her. Zacharia is going to embarrass both herself and Trump, and Trump doesn’t do well with embarrassment. Karoline Leavitt embarrassed herself with her outrageous lies but all in all she handled the job pretty well and trolled the press, which is what Trump expects of his press secretary. Zacharia was a disaster at her debut and at this point it’s a question of when she even appears to do another press conference.
Plus, Zacharia is far more of a right-wingnut than Leavitt ever was, given to conspiracy theories. Get the popcorn because you’re going to be watching an SNL skit happen in real life every time Zacharia opens her mouth.
Watching her get skewered on news shows this morning my first reaction was along the lines of what you suggested – that we’ve seen her last press conference. The consensus with pundits that Trump would keep her around for a while before canning her, just to save some fact. IOW they thought (and I saw this discussed with ‘the Mooch’ himself as a guest she’d outlast him.
I learned this evening that it’s not just illegal to act as an attorney without a law license, but that it’s illegal to even represent yourself as having passed the bar in at least one jurisdiction. It looks like at least in California where she claims to have practiced law the Bar association is going after her. California is a blue state and if the Bar association puts together the makings of a solid case, the AG there might prosecute.
That might be enough for Trump to immediately cut his losses with her, and force her to do a Guilfoyle and ‘resign’, ‘so as not to be a distraction to Trump.’ I wonder what the odds in Vegas are about the term a “Zacharia” will replace a “Scaramucci” as the slang for the ultimate immediate flameout?
