With Generation Z turning out to vote this year at historic levels, it only makes sense for Senator Raphael Warnock‘s campaign to invite the 25 year old megastar of last Tuesday’s election, Florida Congressman elect Maxwell Frost to come to Georgia and join him on the hustings.

Frost replaces Congresswoman Val Demings, who unfortunately did not succeed in her efforts to unseat that twerp Marco Rubio Tuesday.

From NPR

“Democrat Maxwell Frost has won in Florida’s 10th Congressional District, according to a race call by the Associated Press, making him the first member of Generation Z elected to serve in the U.S. Congress…

…The 25-year-old’s victory marks a pivotal moment for progressive activists who came of voting age over the last decade and found their political voice in response to divisive issues including gun violence.

Frost, who has a background as an organizer, first became an activist after the mass shooting in Newtown, Conn., in 2012. Before running for Congress, he served as the national organizing director for March for Our Lives, a group that advocates for gun control policy.

Biden gave young voters a win on student debt, but abortion tops midterm motivations
Gun control continues to be a top issue among younger voters. According to recent polling from Harvard Institute of Politics, 22% of respondents said it was either their most important or second most important issue – compared to inflation (45%,) abortion (33%) and “protecting democracy” (30%).

Gun violence prevention was a core tenet of Frost’s platform, along with supporting progressive policies like Medicare for all and a Green New Deal.“

With young voters chomping at their bits to vote in this election, young Mr. Frost, who has already doubtless mastered the art of using social media to drive turnout, will make an excellent addition to Warnock’s Campaign:

Certainly more valuable than Walker’s surrogate, the GOP’s 2nd biggest loser Ted Cruz.

“In the aftermath of a disastrous midterm for Republicans, the blame game has mostly focused on former President Donald Trump’s ongoing ballot box toxicity. But conservatives might also want to cast a more critical eye on the record of another self-styled GOP influencer: Sen. Ted Cruz.

Cruz put his stamp on more than two dozen GOP candidates this midterm, and it did not go well. Most of them either lost or, with some totals still trickling in, are currently losing.

Cruz focused his support on House races, most specifically 24 of the 25 candidates participating in his “Cruz 25 for 22 Victory Fund” joint fundraising committee. Of the 24 candidates, only nine of them won or are currently ahead in their races. The group features just one of Cruz’s fellow senators, Mike Lee, who won his re-election bid after putting down a surprisingly tough challenge from independent candidate Evan McMullin.“

Choose your fighter then, for Georgia: Maxwell Frost Or Cancun Cruz.

  1. You taught me a new word, “hustings” — a particularly accurate word for what you described. Fun fact … the term is champing at the bit, not chomping. We might as well just change it to chomping. Almost everyone says it that way — it’s more colorful.

  2. YES YES This piece at top of Google search. Old stick in mud MSM don’t nt know how to handle WOKE #GenZ …. DEMS DO! TY TO ALL #GENZ #GenX #women who were woke in 2022. There will be 2 million more in 2024 … and every 2 years thereafter.. and many should realize they need to be lifelong Dems to keep AMERICA STRONG and #BBB!
