After Trump’s incredibly brazen statement yesterday, stating that he can simply pardon himself if he feels like it, Adam Schiff offered a truly optimistic thought.
Here is Trump’s original tweet:
As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong? In the meantime, the never ending Witch Hunt, led by 13 very Angry and Conflicted Democrats (& others) continues into the mid-terms!

Schiff’s responded by saying, “President Nixon asked the Department of Justice if he could pardon himself. They said no, as no one may be the judge in their own case. He resigned three days later. In case you want to follow the Nixon model, that would be Thursday.”

Just two more sleeps if this is true!!!
OR if you are an overachiever, consider this:
I feel like Trump could do better than Nixon, and be the best resigning president ever by resigning on Wednesday.

I do think he can do better, Wendy, I really do.
