I wonder if these people ever listen to themselves. Since they’re narcissistic, one would think the answer would be yes. But if they did, then how could they not hear the abject absurdity of what they are saying?

The RWNJ you’re about to hear is saying that Christians received an order “from the throne of Satan” that they were not to involve themselves in politics or government. I can only assume that that translates as if Satan doesn’t want it then you as a Christian should go run and do it.

But here’s the catch: How does this man of God know what’s coming from the throne of Satan? Isn’t proximity to the throne reserved for devil worshippers? Not that we want to rely too heavily on logic, here. Next the guy starts talking about force fields. I didn’t know Satan was such a techie.

Actually, Marty, we think it’s just the opposite. We think that Satan wants the faux Xians to get right into the political arena because if anybody has messed up both the political and religious sphere in recent years, it’s that group of people.

As a bonus, here is Michelle Bachmann doing her usual. Do you remember a GOP that was once embarrassed by Bachmann and asked her not to run again? What happened to that GOP? Because they don’t exist now, not with the crazies that have followed this one into politics.

Bachmann has a real fetish for enslavement. It’s all she can think about. Remember the conspiracy theory about how the FEMA modules that were under construction for disasters were in fact to be used for prison camps, where various groups were to be incarcerated? The different groups varied with the conspiracy theory. One CT had Obama imprisoning all white people as reparations for slavery. Another CT had all Christians being incarcerated. And yet another had all gun owners — and their guns — would be taken there and then the key thrown away.

Take your pick, it’s all madness.

This is what’s coming out of the “Christian” right. And if you think this is ridiculous and wonder why bother to document any of this, remember: these people can vote and do vote. 74 million people voted for Donald Trump in 2020. That’s my mantra. That is what keeps me looking at all this bizarro world content, seven days a week. That number is terrifying. It’s a testament to how out of touch so many people in this country are, and it cannot be ignored.

  1. As someone who studied under biblical scholars at a prestigious university, I find few people who really know the Bible or the history of each texts. Somehow the word ‘faith’ has been cordoned off as something sacred and above criticism. Bullcrap. Anyone’s belief system is open to debate, especially if it impacts other people. True faith seeks truth, facts, critical analysis & admits there is always mystery. Jesus tried to simplify the ‘law’ of the old testament by reportedly saying the two greatest commandments are: love God(the mystery), with all your heart, mind, & soul,(let me know if anyone can clearly define those things), & love your neighbor as yourself. By the way the Golden rule exists in all religions. He also repeatedly was reported as always saying you can judge a person by their ‘fruits’. By the way I find no conflict with science which has proven ideas that have existed for millennium. As a religion major, I took chemistry, botany, ecology, calculus & a number of physical anthropology courses studying human evolution. I guess I can sum most folks up with a quote from Antole France. “Men who do not know what to do in this life, pray for another that last forever.” Bingo.

    • Anyone who has paid attention to stuff I post knows that I was raised a person of faith and carried those beliefs into adulthood. Over time I would increasingly struggle to maintain religious faith and eventually lost it entirely and became agnostic. Having said that, I don’t find a concept I learned long ago to be contrary to reasonable people whether they are believers in god or some other diety/supreme being. Science strives to explain how, and religion strives to explain why. To me it’s that simple, yet there are people on both sides who refuse to acknowledge this concept, and worse people on both sides who are literally threatened by the existence of either science or religion.

  2. How does a x-tian minister know what satan has to say? Really? I thought x-tians got their marching orders from satan-their actions sure make it look that way.

    • They are crazy cult members who make it up as they go. Reality might as well be a greased pig as far as these folks go. Let us all pray for an ungreased pig to cross their path. Or should I talk to Satan? Nah.
