And with luck, Democrats will be able to spread this all over the state of Kansas. This is the guy who used to be an OB-GYN and had people taken to jail for past-due payments. He’s proud of this. We know this hit poorer people with the inability to pay. But it didn’t matter to him. If they had anything past due, he went after them. He charged the highest annual interest in the state. He’s very proud of this.

That’s all well and good, but he shot himself in the foot with an ad. Democrat contender Adam Hamilton highlighted Marshall’s billing in an ad and refused to take it down. So, Marshall put one out defending himself … except he didn’t. This guy has half a brain; he didn’t think about what he was saying, because it was *very* much the *wrong* thing to say for himself.

We found out about this, with appreciation, via Raw Story:

In an apparent attempt to dispel the allegations against him, Marshall, in a pre-recorded video shared by Kansas radio host Pete Mundo on Saturday, pushed back against Hamilton’s ads. “To ensure that 40,000 Kansans would still have access to care, we did have to keep the lights on, so we occasionally handed some accounts over to collection agencies, just like nearly every private medical practice does,” Marshall is heard saying.

Oops. Right. Well said, Roger – against yourself. There are questions about his billing practices, and he had to send them to collections? That’s not what people needed to hear. With any luck, Hamilton will be able to find even one person whose account was sent to collections and ask them to do a rebuttal to the ad, even though we don’t have much time left before Election Day.

Sen. Marshall just proved that he’s an arrogant ass and doesn’t give a damn about the people in the state. Dude is rich. He has money. He didn’t need to do this low-down shizzle. But he sounds like he’s proud of it. How can you be proud of it? How can you be happy about sending accounts to collections? Those people are nasty, as we all know. There are horror stories. Sure, they offer a payment plan – that you can’t afford. Then it clobbers your credit and makes people even worse off than they already are. In today’s world, you can’t do a damn thing without credit.

Oops. Digressing all over the place today. This practically proves that Marshall doesn’t give a damn about the people in the state if they are not wealthy. He wants his money, so he sells the account to collections and gets his money, then doesn’t have to be concerned about it. Has he done anything for Kansas constituents in his current position? Unknown, although we can be pretty sure he voted for the BUB, which hammered most of the people in America, and continues to do so! There are changes taking place on a calendar: reduce such-and-such this month, reduce that in 6 months, etc.

We probably should have been paying more attention to Kansas, and that’s on it. But it’s lovely finding out a red candidate has told on himself.  Let’s hope it tanks his numbers and gives Mr. Hamilton a nice win. Because if it’s close, you know they will demand a recount. Those take forever, and we don’t want to wait.

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking is the ability to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
