What in the world is going on with a Trump sycophant defying the Mango Monarch two weeks before Election Day, 2022 and unleashing an intraparty skirmish? Let alone one over disbursement of funds, let alone at a time when the RNC has decided to sink another $6 million into trying to save Mehmet Oz’s race in Pennsylvania?

Arizona is one of the midterms’ most heated battlegrounds, with closely contested races for U.S. senator, governor and secretary of state, among others, set to be decided Nov. 8.
So why is the Arizona Republican Party on track to coast through Election Day with roughly $1 million left unspent in its campaign account?
Our colleague Alex Isenstadt reports that former President DONALD TRUMP is among those who have taken notice. He dialed up Arizona GOP Chair KELLI WARD on Monday to push her to unload the unspent funds on candidates he’s endorsed in the state over the next two weeks.
In a contentious, roughly five-minute phone call, Ward defended not disbursing the cash that remains in the party’s campaign account. But Trump pushed back, calling her explanation a “bullshit excuse,” according to three people familiar with the discussion.
Trump reached out to Ward while meeting with top political advisers, who informed him about the state of the Arizona GOP’s coffers. During the call, Trump asked Ward why she hadn’t yet invested the funds, and he expressed particular concern about whether MARK FINCHEM — a far-right candidate for secretary of state — was getting enough funding.
Ward’s refusal to spend to the bottom of her organization’s coffers has baffled top Republicans, and it remains unclear to those outside the state party leadership why exactly she is hoarding the funds. Ward — who has otherwise been overwhelmingly loyal to Trump in recent years — declined to address those reasons in a statement to Alex, saying, “President Trump wants all of our Arizona America First candidates to win. And so do I!”
Ward is a diehard Trumpist, that much is certain. It’s also certain that fear of MAGA extremists losing elections and thereby “wasting” money invested in them, is all too real. Maybe Ward has decided that she knows better than Trump does about where the money should go and who can win and who can’t. Wouldn’t that be an interesting display of hubris.
The next few days should be revealing. At this stage in the race(s) the money is being sunk where it is hoped it will do some good and being withheld from situations which are deemed lost causes. Maybe Ward has her own secret list of who she really thinks can and can’t win?
If so and if it differs from Trump’s list, that could be a major problem indeed.

The giant orange baboon’s ass we know as Trump has raised money hand over fist for both his legal defense and for “candidate promotion” via different PACs. Yet he’s got the RNC paying his fucking legal bills, and just how much has his “leadership” PAC handed out to Republican candidates, including “HIS” candidates?
Isn’t it obvious that Ward and the State Repub Party are holding onto the money to cover their planned demands for recounts and challenges? Remember 2020, when they got the legislature to fund the recounts with taxpayer dollars — when their own hired partisans only found MORE votes for Biden after over a year of lies? I imagine the taxpayers aren’t going to approve that again! For sure, Trump won’t provide a penny for recounts!
They are saving money for legal fees they will need to contest the l9stelections. Duh.
