According to The Hill, McConnell is complaining that the Mueller probe has gone on “forever,” and says that Special Counsel Robert Mueller “ought to wrap it up”.
McConnell said, “What I think about the Mueller investigation is, they ought to wrap it up. It’s gone on seemingly forever and I don’t know how much more they think they can find out,” in an interview with “Behind Closed Doors,” a Washington Examiner podcast.
Ali H. Soufan, former FBI Agent who was involved in a number of high-profile anti-terrrorism cases in the U.S. and worldwide, sent out this tweet in response.
Forever?!! Mr. McConnell, the average length of special counsel investigations, dating back to Watergate, is 904 days.
For example:
Whitewater, that eventually morphed into the Lewinsky scandal: 2,978 days.
Iran-Contra: 2,420 days.

Looks like McConnell was just fact-checked. And facts do matter.
By my calculations, 904 minus 394 = Mueller still has at least 510 days to wrap this up to the only acceptable conclusion, which will be for the resignation of the second U.S. President.
