Apparently he did, because Trump has gone on record endorsing McKissick and Lin Wood can go pound sand in the nearest mental health facility.

It is a law of nature that Everything Trump Touches Dies. That said, I have no doubt whatsoever that Wood will spin this out in some grandiose fashion, that he and Trump spoke to Jesus and decided that Wood should be the next secretary of state, or Ambassador to the Moon or something else insane.
It is comical that Wood did everything from tout the Big Lie to talk about Trump running the military and having the military codes, and his legacy on Mt. Rushmore and nothing.worked. He still got a knife in the back. Wow.
