Kimberly Guilfoyle is deep in a pile of you-know-what of her own making. Her antics got her sent thousands of miles away from Trump World. How she ever became a member of the inner sanctum in the first place is a mystery but she did. That means she knows where a lot of the proverbial bodies are buried (and maybe what’s in Ivana’s casket at Bedminster?) so Trump tried to mollify getting her the hell away from Mar A Lago with a cushy Ambassador posting to Greece. THAT blew up and Trump is trying to cast her into oblivion. What are the odds she’ll just quietly fade away?
With everything going on, including and especially the midterms next week the question of how Guilfoyle will react to succumbing to ETTD Syndrome isn’t a hot topic of discussion. However I for one think it might be, and sooner than Trump thinks. Part of why Kimberly was at one time a key member of Team Trump is the delight she’s taken in kicking people while they’re down. That’s a trait Trump certainly possesses and admires in others. If the midterms do in fact turn out to be a political bloodbath for Trump and the GOP Trump is going to be weakened. Word is he’s already plotting. Susie Wiles and others are trying to help him balance extracting revenge on voters and GOP candidates who failed to win with kneecapping Democrats. IF Guilfoyle decides to stick it to the Trump’s it seems like the perfect time for her to go nuclear on Trump.
Kimberly Guilfoyle has got to be majorly pissed off right now. Her banishment from Trump World is going public as we see in this article from SheFinds. I’ve yet to see the big outlets talk about this but it’s a safe bet they will before long. I simply don’t see her ‘ going quietly into that good night.’ But it seems Trump wants to relegate her to ‘coffee gal’ status and maybe not even that. As you know she became so toxic she was forced to resign from her Ambassadorship. Quite the humiliation but many (including me) figured the ever transactional Trump would try to smooth over the humiliation. Perhaps a quiet role with some entity that would give her the means to offer (or at least the illusion of doing so that would pass public scrutiny) to be an ‘informal advisor.’ For a hefty salary of course. However she’s being frozen out completely:
Now, Kimberly is reportedly facing another setback, with an insider claiming she has been told to “stay away” from Trump and stop reaching out to him. According to RadarOnline, sources say the former ambassador has been “frozen out” following the scandal and is no longer viewed as a trusted member of the president’s inner circle.
“Kimberly has been frozen out,” an insider claimed. “She’s been told to stop reaching out to Donald Trump. This isn’t a misunderstanding or a temporary disagreement. The message is clear: Stay away.
Now, given this isn’t a major outlet you might dismiss this as gossip. However the linked article makes note of not just the history, Guilfoyle’s long engagement to Don Jr. and how her apparent family connection got her into the inner circle and close to Trump himself. She was treated and talked about as (almost) family. Then Don Jr. experienced an interlude of temporary sanity and broke up with her. In time Guilfoyle would learn that with the Trump’s, there’s a Grand Canyon sized chasm between being ‘almost family’ and actual family.
It became increasingly clear after Kimberly and Don Jr. broke up that whatever closeness she once had with Trump had faded. However, she’s borderline batshit insane and for all his faults Trump’s survival instincts were still in working order and he knew there was value to him in keeping Kimberly if not happy than at least not pissed off. What he came up with was shipping her off to Greece in the leadup to Don Jr.’s wedding. It was clearly a ‘get her the hell away but do so in a manner that won’t cause her to blow her stack maneuver.’ In addition to enjoying fabulous lifestyle in a setting that for people with money and connections is idyllic she still had at least some access.
Until she didn’t. She became too freaking toxic even for Trump! That’s a whole different topic I won’t get in to here. What matters is that Guilfoyle became so toxic that recently even Trump himself made an effort to minimize any role/influence she might have had:
In fact, the president himself appeared to distance himself from Kimberly when asked about the allegations surrounding her departure from Greece. Rather than describing her as a longtime family friend, he downplayed their connection, saying she “wasn’t a member of my family” and that she had, as he put it, dated his son a long time ago. A source emphasized this distance to celebrity reporter Rob Shuter.
To put it bluntly, the conclusion of the linked article makes note of how one insider says Guilfoyle remembers when she was ‘practically family’ – but is learning being Don Jr.’s former fiancee doesn’t grant her permanent access to his father. I’ll say flat-out she doesn’t strike me as someone who’s going to meekly accept the public talk about her ‘being too toxic even for Trump!’ and decide if she’s going down then she’s taking Trump and his family with her. There’s a saying about revenge is a dish best served cold. I won’t debate whether that’s true. What I will say is that sometimes people wait and carefully plan an epic revenge. Sometimes they’re in no mood to wait and lash out right away, especially if they’ve got serious dirt on the one(s) who they feel wronged them.
If Guilfoyle turns out to be one of the latter we are in for quite the Sh!t-show. Still (it’s Halloween after all) while there’s an amount of unpleasantness to endure like you would in a Halloween ‘haunted house’ it will be entertaining as hell. Stay tuned folks!
