Kellyanne Conway has trotted out a variation on her ‘Alternative Facts’ shtick and it’s a doozy. Rather than simply blow past facts and make up new alternative facts, it’s like she decided to pretend not only actual facts but her alternative ones never even existed! That at least is my takeaway from her appearance on TV to trash Democrats and Maine Senate nominee Graham Platner.
We have to acknowledge Platner carries some baggage and even before some recent allegations from his past came to light we knew Susan Collins possesses an uncanny ability to survive betrayal of promises she’s made to Main’s voters. Every person and their baggage is different. Al Franken was never given a chance. Eric Swallwell didn’t even deserved one. Platner, a multiple tour combat veteran clearly had problems he took too long to address. Maine Democrats seem willing to let him make his case. So have other Democrats, at least so far and as HuffPost tells us KellyAnne just can’t understand how Democrats can tolerate scandal in one of their people!
Really KellyAnne? YOU are going to go all self-righteous about Democrats (according to you) excusing scandals. Even question how many does it take before they’ve had enough? Well, if you go to the linked article you can see not just a tweet of her fainting couch antics but that almost out of the gate she was getting ratioed. Here’s what she said:

How much do Democrats have to overlook? No wonder Conway is being ruthlessly mocked. Donald Trump’s scandals with women alone are enough to fill up his dumbass ballroom. And remember, the Access Hollywood tape (‘grab em by the pussy’) came out before the 2016 election when Conway was Trump’s campaign manager. All the other women who came forward with credible accusations. Then there’s Stormy Daniels Karen McDougal which it was revealed at a trial (where Trump LOST) affairs that got covered up to protect the campaign. E. Jean Carroll. And so on. Trump is an adjuticated serial sexual assaulter and rapist!
As for Platner, “sexting” women not his wife was bad, and PTSD notwithstanding being a jerk to some women isn’t either. However, they’ve been (as far as I know) vague. They’ve been clear their were no physical assaults. No hitting, and ‘uncomfortable’ hasn’t included specific statements made or actions that made them think he might do so. There clearly have been times in his life when Platner was no gentleman but it’s a far cry from what Conway and Republicans have excused from Trump.
Then there’s all of Trump’s financial scandals. Which I should add continue. He comes up with a new scam every week and he and his family often come up with more than one in a single week. And Conway has the nerve to ask how much DEMOCRATS are willing to ‘overlook’ when it comes to Platner? I for one am not going to sit back and let her pretend none of Trump’s far greater (both in number and intensity) of scandals and outright crimes never happened. Well, I urge you to check out the link and see some of the tweets responding to the clip of Conway Acyn put up. Make note of them for when some GOPer asshat mimics Conway’s nonsense.
