The folks running the Democratic National Convention took off the gloves last night in primetime, airing a new video enumerating Don Cornholeone’s various crimes and character deficiencies, and they used the phrase “in the criminal justice system” from the iconic first few seconds of the perpetually running crime series Law and Order to open the clip. Covering everything from his marital infidelities to his disastrous foray into casinos in Atlantic City, to his equally ruinous Presidency and the subsequent insurrection, it was a video indictment of drumpf in a format that many millions of Americans will immediately recognize.

It was genius and a master stroke against the felonious traitor Trump.

  2. You don’t bring a pamphlet extolling your virtues to a knife/gun fight. You first accept you will need to decide NOT TO BE A VICTIM and fight!!! Glad to see the democratic party decided to do so…finally.

    • I’ve said before sometimes you have to deal with being in a bar fight. You might not have started it, or even been the person/group who were the initial targets. Sometimes you were just in some honky tonk joint either by yourself or with a few friends quietly knocking back a few beers and unfortunately well away from the door. Even if only not to get caught up when the police show up, and especially if you’re not a regular or worse from out of town you need to get the hell out of there. Because in the latter two cases BOTH sides will start in after you.

      The only choice you really have is to do WHATEVER it takes to get the hell to and out the door and safely into your car so you can get away. Punch, kick, gouge, use beer bottles or broken chair/table legs. Do what you have to do.

      Sometimes a good hard blow, even if it’s a cheap shot startles the crazies who got the whole mess rolling enough to give you the break you need to escape. But the bottom line is do what you have to do. The funny thing now is GOPers are, like so many who’ve gotten away with bullying all shocked and whining. They scream NOT FAIR simply because instead of curling up in the corner and taking their abuse someone has chosen to stand toe to toe and start hitting back. HARD. And landing blows of their own. I say make em bleed. Break noses. Bust lips. Knock them on their asses and kick THEM while they’re down. With some ‘how do you like being on the receiving end for a change?’ taunting.

      If they don’t like it fuck em.

    • Scott, I’ve seen some comments about “finally,” and “How come they put Biden on so late,” on other websites.

      I think those comments are undeserved. Not everyone in the USA lives on the east coast. Going on at 11:00 p.m. catches people who tune in the late news. Prime Time got Steve Kerr and Jaimie Raskin and AOC and Senator Warnock.

      The Ds have their timing set up very well. NOW is the time to strike, when folks who aren’t political junkies like those of us here (! :)) start to pay attention. There were a bunch of great one liners last night.

The words taken from above “… the felonious traitor Trump …” explicitly hit the intended ‘sauce throwiing Shitler’ and do buddy up well with ‘the felonious and traitorous bastard, Trump’ too – because that’s what he Shitler is!
