Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is demanding answers after the release of a shocking video that appears to show a federal immigration agent “accompanying a female detainee into a porta-potty” in Minnesota. Published on social media Saturday night by X user “Molly Ploofkins,” an influential political commentator with more than 135,000 followers, the video was allegedly captured in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.
Please feel free to watch the video and see if we are thinking the same thing. It’s not graphic, and I was actually able to watch this one. This is beyond. Why are they getting away with these things? Why can’t they be brought under control? Why are they allowed to terrorize an entire country? The video shows an individual – alleged to be an agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement – escorting, who appears to be a woman – alleged to be an ICE detainee – into a mobile toilet. The alleged agent is seen slipping and falling on his back before accompanying the woman into the mobile toilet. “This is deeply alarming. If anyone has more information please share,” Omar wrote in a social media post Sunday afternoon on X. “Brooklyn Center is in my district, and I would love any info you all can provide.”
Kudos to Ilhan for jumping right on this. Yes, it most certainly is alarming! It’s even further proof that ICE is out of control. They think they can do anything and be protected. Krispi Gnome certainly tries to twist it around and make them heroic, but yes, in general, she *is* protecting them. And this shizzle about Renee and the shooting in Portland has got to STOP. They’re spinning this completely 180 degrees, and it’s not the truth! The *truth* is known far and wide for those shootings, and now this? W. T. A. F.
Migrants arrested by ICE have been subjected to sexual abuse by ICE officers, according to accounts by arrested migrants shared with the human rights organization ACLU, and onlookers feared that the video highlighted by Omar may point to yet another instance of sexual abuse. //// “If this video is real, and that ICE agent made her perform a sexual favor that’s called sex trafficking and it’s a felony,” wrote X user “RudyMoon,” an anti-sex-trafficking advocate with more than 8,300 followers. “This needs to be investigated.” //// “Oh my word, this is horrible,” wrote another, X user “Tern,” a frequent commentator on politics who’s amassed more than 83,000 followers. “They are so stupid and so evil.”
If you want to be even more horrified, go read the ACLU website report. It’s gut-wrenching. And if this truly happened to the (likely) woman in the video, ICE has turned it up not just to 11, but to 20. They have no guard rails, no accountability. Noem protects them. Stephen Miller (damn, but I need an appropriate nickname for him) wants thousands of immigrants (or US citizens) arrested every damn day, and it‘s not physically possible.
The color of your skin no longer matters. They’re going after everyone. If someone gets in their way, well, too bad for them. But the protests have started, and they will be continuing. We can almost bet that phones will be out and recording ICE everywhere. We can document them, we can protest around them, but carefully, because we now know there is nothing holding them back. We will also watch them wherever they are. And we shall have whistles to warn the immigrants, not ICE. Let’s melt them.
