We live in a post-truth world and also a post-parody world. Nobody knows what is normal anymore. What you’re about to read started going viral on social media yesterday and tell me if you agree, it sounds exactly like Trump. When I read this I didn’t bat an eyelash. Then I read further down thread and it was identified as a fake and I said, oh darn. Because it really does express Trump’s thoughts, even if he didn’t write it.
This is a terrific fake because Trump has indeed said all this. He may not have said it in this post, but he has absolutely said all of these ideas about McConnell needing to be replaced because he’s a RINO, Pence being weak, all of it.
All is fair in love & war…we know the Maga crowd is willing to do & say anything to gain power. Fighting fair will not stop fascism. That’s why President Eisenhower used Patton as a decoy. That’s why Washington kept fires going all night to make the British think he was still there for them to conquer in the morning only to find the continental army had fled in the night to regroup. It turned the war in both cases.
Yeah, fake. It’s too well-written; no spelling errors, no grammatical errors, no bad sentence structure, if you get my drift. Yeah, fake. But a good fake.
