There is obtuse, there is oblivious and then there is Donald Trump, Jr., who is not going to win any awards for self awareness this year, let’s just say that much. He’s at the circus of the south this weekend, otherwise known as CPAC, in Dallas, and you simply won’t believe what came out of his mouth Friday night.

Now, the hilarity is that he’s talking about Hunter Biden. He’s describing himself and his grifting siblings, but he’s talking about Hunter Biden. He’s actually talking about somebody else “selling access to your government at the highest levels.” Mr. Trump Tower Meets Russian Lawyer is saying this, do you love it?
Junior is with his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, which tells you what CPAC thinks the future of the Republican party is. Here’s a clip of the pre-hab soon to be rehab couple rehearsing for the next Republican National Convention, we assume.

Trump being annoyed by Guilfoyle is from an excerpt in Michael Wolff’s new book. It may well be that the Trump clan is getting ready to throw Kimberly under the bus, although I don’t know why. Guilfoyle exemplifies the tastelessness of the Trump clan better than anybody. It seems to me that all of them could get dressed up like this and go down to Comic Con. That would be the perfect family outing.
The truly pathetic part of this, is that they think this makes them look hip, slick and cool. That’s how far out of their effing minds they are.
It truly is pathetic. They just don’t get it and never will.
I look at him in that tacky sport coat and no matter how hard I try can’t fully express the level of sarcasm needed to convey my meaning when I say “Nice respect for our flag dude.”
Oh, and as for the anecdote about daddy telling him he’d be disowned if he joined the military, is there ANY sane person out there who thinks Donny Jr. would have ever seriously considered doing so? It was nothing more than an empty threat meant as a did to his draft dodging dad.
That sport coat is so tacky I can’t imagine it anywhere but a stage show.
(None of those kids would ever have joined the military. It would mean taking orders from people who were their inferiors.)
I’m an old hippie and remember the days when flags used as clothing was considered total disrespect. I think it was even considered illegal yet here are the magas wearing the flag on everything they can think of.
I am sure you never thought the day would dawn when a son of a former president would be wearing the flag. Let alone a Republican president. I know my head would have exploded at the thought.

His sad and incredibly stupid abuse of the flag, especially at this stage of the Trump name collapse, when everything he is saying just lubricates the desires of the court’s squad of lawyers and any AG that has not been offended until NOW, to invite the whole family in for a chat …
His dad raised another Trump that talks just like him, and has reverted to a blithering idiot, one more failed product of negative responsibility to the Constitution and rule of law …
