This is a bit like the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. You knew the GOP had to have a platform or some codified form of policy, right? Well, behold, this is it, painted on a car window by some GOP scholar, who, if he’s not a paid Republican strategist, he will be soon. He’s got it down alright. Take a look.

It’s all there, QAnon, adrenachrome, the border, China, yawn. You could carefully remove this glass from the frame, wrap it up and put it in a time capsule and future generations of scholars will bear witness to the fact that this is the essence of what the Republican party stood for in the 2021.
Here’s another jewel in the parking lot. Hopefully this guy just likes to decorate his van and isn’t also a pipe bomber like the last lunatic.

The whole thing is an object d’art, but my eye is drawn to that front quarter panel, “Ivanka 2028.”

The bottom image is less of an exaggeration than the top image. That’s a fact. This is the standard bearer of the Grand Old Party, right here.

I think people who still vote R because it’s how they’ve always voted should probably stop voting, because they’re just robots.
I agree, the lower panel SHOULD actually be posted, [Internationally], it is the ultimate view of the majority of non Maga Idiots, but put into such a graphic, detailed form, The Trump family would come unglued … delightful how the artwork of certain individuals can set the tone of politically offensive bullies …
Trump deserves an International publication of this gem … he IS guilty of so many criminal actions as well as responsible for the delay to fight the pandemic … thousands of families lost loved one’s to this idiot …
The wannabe Emperor without clothes, sounds familiar somehow …
Well, you can rightfully assume the author of the above manifesto isn’t vaccinated against COVID and never will be. The time is coming when a great many folks who’ve been infected by conspiracy theories will succumb to them, and so won’t be around anymore to vote for anyone.
The question for the rest of us, though, is how much longer can America’s already-strained immune system hold out against the Bonehead Pandemic? Probably long enough, but it’s the alarming inevitability of mutations that keeps me up at night. I mean, I’m vaccinated against more than COVID; after being constantly exposed to Republican diseases–late-stage RWNJ paranoia, antibiotic-resistant QAnon batshittedness, persistent bloody flux Tuckerism, and a near-lethal case of Formerly–I’ve fairly confident I can survive the current strain of Bonehead, but as my Dads the pediatrician always says, there’s no cure for Stupid.
The lower panel, disgusting as it is, is definitely more real than the glorified ‘Rocky’ version, or any of the other freakish ‘art’ to come from these folks. They are delusional. And Ivanka in 28? I hope by 28 she’s a few years into her prison term.
If it weren’t for the fact that I don’t want it in my Facebook Timeline, I would post the bottom picture.
Why is my comment awaiting moderation?
Am I correct in assuming you are referring to your comment about not wanting that pic on your FB timeline? Speaking for myself, in the past on this site I too have sometimes been frustrated by having comments where I behaved myself (no profanity, truly overt insults using charged terms, etc.) kicked into moderation. I’m no tech person, but know enough that every website gets targeted by scammers and/or bots. Some of all that is just people trying to get free advertising for their own sites or products, or toss up some porn or whatever – and some of that stuff contains malware & other bad stuff. It’s just the way things are on the internet. As a result sites have to have software that screens stuff and how those algorithms are written might as well be quantum physics for most of us as it seems to operate that way. Like I said, even when we try to be as polite and clean as possible on some sites our comments get sent to “moderation purgatory.” If after review nothing against a site’s practices or rules is in a comment it gets approved by someone and shows up. If not then it’s cleared away into wherever web stuff goes to die.
Some stuff is obvious, but some of the bad stuff is written and executed by smart, ruthless and sneaky ass people. Think of it this way – consider your personal email. If you ever look at your spam folder for your email (or even your inbox if you’ve ever made a political donation) you know full well how the stuff you don’t want comes not just every day with a generic set of the regular crap, but in waves. You might chuckle over how ham-handed some of the stuff is, but I’ll bet there have been times when you simultaneously marveled and shuddered over how cleverly some bad actor managed to spoof a legitimate site or person – and the consequences if you’d missed it. Or found out the hard way you did in fact miss it. Now imagine what a website gets hit with.
The stuff is constantly coming in. Sometimes in tidal waves! Some of the big name sites that are highly profitable have various means of people becoming “trusted users/commenters” but they tend to have a lot more resources than the average site.
PZ sometimes refers to itself as the Little Engine That Could, and maybe someday will have the ability to be like a site many of us migrated from and have things like trusted user status that people can earn. I’m still not sure how I attained that over on Kos btw but that’s what inspired me to write this response to you.
So, to you and anyone else that gets frustrated my two cents is to please cut a little slack. It takes a lot of time and effort to get something like this site established – a lot more heart and soul and knowledge (and yes, money including a lot that has to be paid up front just like any other small business that takes the risk of starting up) than I’ve got for damned sure. And I’d note that unlike say DK from which I used to get almost daily “We are in dire need of help” appeals for donations (my reaction tended to be WTF?) something like yesterday’s appeal from Ursula is a rare thing for PZ.
In the end it might take a while, but assuming yours or anyone’s comments are ok (even if they consist of conservative’s being assholes in many cases) they will wind up being seen.
