Color this clueless. Everybody has been waiting for the other shoe to drop, to see what Katie Britt would respond after humiliating herself with her fundie southern belle performance, not to mention the out and out lie that she told regarding the woman who was sex trafficked in Mexico as a minor, but Britt made it sound like this was something going on today during Biden’s administration. Did Britt become trite? Apologize? Hell, no. When the going gets tough the tough go grifting.

And that was only the beginning. She pulled out all the stops with this fundraising appeal, however.
“Following my speech, the left-wing media didn’t waste a second flooding the airwaves with despicable, disgusting messages about me,” the senator’s fundraising pitch states. “They attacked my character. They attacked my faith. They attacked my identity as a mother and a wife.”
“My heart is broken,” she added. “Not just for myself, but for my children, your children and the ENTIRE next generation of Americans. Why? Because I didn’t prepare a 20-minute speech and stand up to Biden in front of millions of Americans for ME. I did it for them, for YOU and your children, Friend!”
“Friend, they’re not just laughing at me,” reads her fundraising pitch. “They’re laughing at every single American who dares to stand up to their radical agenda. Every patriot who fights to defend their American dream.”
“Because they can’t handle the truth,” the pitch adds. “The truth about their failed leader.”
That’s right, we’re flipping out because we can’t handle the truth of a trafficking incident that happened under Dubya’s reign that is being put in Joe Biden’s column. It’s us, we’re the ones who are screwed up.
This is one more tile in the overall mosaic of Republican corruption and irresponsibility. Trump didn’t get where he got to alone. He got to the top of the GOP ticket because the Republican party is in a state of collapse right now and for many years. They’re fine with him stealing documents, inciting riots, consorting with dictators, getting money from Russia (he’s not alone in the GOP in that department) anything he wants to do so long as he gets back in power and stays there forever.
I hope Britt manages to self-immolate. Where’s Doug Jones? Any chance we can get him to oppose this dummy?

Well, it’s a bit pointless to think about that now since Britt was just elected in 2022. Which means, she won’t be running for reelection until 2028.
I’ll also remind you that Doug only got elected because even Alabama’s GOP voters couldn’t stomach the allegations against Roy Moore that came to light AFTER he got the nomination (if the allegations had come to light just 3 months earlier–before the primary–Jones would’ve just been yet another in a long line of Democratic political sacrifices).
katie honey? We’re not freaking out. Trust me on this one. You provided us with a very good laugh and we appreciate you making us laugh at your expense–it was priceless. Of course the ads that will be run against republican candidates that incorporate that blithering you did last week will be greatly appreciated by democrat candidates. Fact is, silliness such as you exhibited that evening has no place in the senate or any other high public office.

Well that’s true, we ARE laughing at her and everyone that supports her.
Everyone laughs at jokes.
Most people lie once in a while in order to avoid an unpleasant situation, and politicians tend to lie more than most people so they can stay in office — but the only word I can think of for the MAGA GOP level of lying is “lieaholism” — they just CANNOT stop lying, because their brain — like an alcoholic’s brain — is wired “backwards”; i.e., their brain is telling them that they will literally DIE if they STOP lying, whereas “normie” brains tell their owners that they will die (figuratively speaking) if they START lying.
It’s kind of amazing to say it, but this country might actually need mass intervention/re-education camps to get MAGA GOP people to admit they have a problem and then start a 12 Step program to free them from their addiction to lying — and it staggers the imagination to think that so many millions of people have had their brains completely scrambled and turned into lieaholics by a stupid, tubby old man with the world’s worst combover.
