Gosh and golly, I wonder why. Could it be that she has a whole bunch of people angry with her? Nahh, that couldn’t possibly be why. She is made up of sweetness and light! Or at least she thinks she is. We know better. I hope you’ll enjoy this. With respect to Raw Story:
Attorney General Pam Bondi has moved into military housing after facing growing threats from cartels and irate Americans, according to a new report. The New York Times reported on Tuesday that Bondi moved out of her Washington, D.C. apartment and moved into a military base in the area. The report noted that Bondi has been facing numerous threats since the Trump administration’s decision to capture Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro in January. At the same time, a growing number of Americans are increasingly frustrated with Bondi’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, according to the report.
My, my, my. She actually got worried. She’s always seemed impervious up to this point. Look at her behavior in the open session about the Epstein files and ignoring the survivors who attended. The threats must really be serious for her to move. Still, she is so self-righteous that it’s a surprise.
“Ms. Bondi is the latest administration official to move into heavily guarded quarters at military facilities in or near the nation’s capital after citing danger from criminals, adversaries overseas and protesters,” the report reads in part.
We can bet that they aren’t going to be nearly as posh as her apartment. Awww. If she’s that concerned, she’ll have to get over it. There is no sympathy for Blondi. I don’t give a d*mn, and I expect all of you will, or rather, won’t, too. I’ve seen military housing. It’s not exactly the most glamorous thing in the world. She doesn’t deserve posh.
“Other officials who have relocated include Stephen Miller, the president’s top domestic policy adviser and the architect of his hard-line immigration policy; Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Kristi Noem, the exiting homeland security secretary; and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth,” it added. The NYT also noted that the Trump administration is the first to take “widespread advantage of taxpayer-funded military housing to accommodate political appointees who do not have a direct connection to the military.”
Well, Petey Boy does have a connection, but the others do not. Rubio was a surprise. The others were not. It was a good idea for Stephen to go, because he’s universally hated. I suppose I could be cranky about their taxpayer-paid military housing. But it’s far too entertaining to think of those people away from their apartments and other goodies. Do they have armed guards escorting them back and forth off base? If so, here’s hoping it comes out of *their* pockets, not ours. And here’s hoping they didn’t put any Secret Service with them. *That* would suck. I guess this is another “in fear for their lives”, huh.
See you soon!
Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

Some wise person once said it: What goes around, comes around. As a certified wishy-washy progressive (I got the tattoo and learned the secret handshake), I guess I should find some sympathy for Bondi and her gang, but I just can’t dredge any up….
My sympathy is Go To Hell. Ha. I suppose I could also be “categorized” as a wishy-washy progressive, so you have some company. I guess it depends on how invested and irate I am over something.
But you know what? I wouldn’t label anyone else anything, although Trump is an exception *snort* really, only myself. Accurate descriptions (e.g. Krispi Gnome) are the exception 😉 and I do label myself.
