He is becoming even more fun to write about than Elon was. Ken Paxton is not cutting it. Ken Paxton was a very bad choice not only for Trump but for Republicans. The man is a hot mess. Cornyn was not exactly the best guy, but against Paxton? No contest. He’s a vile human being, although sometimes we wonder about the human part. Huge thanks for the help, Raw Story!
A Donald Trump-endorsed Republican Senate candidate was busted for using artificial intelligence to generate social media posts denouncing data centers. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton endorsed a pause on the construction of data centers introduced by Republican Gov. Greg Abbott in response to the growing backlash against AI and the infrastructure needed to power the tech, and the GOP Senate nominee introduced his own four-point plan on the issue.
That four-point plan? It’s actually only three. People can’t count these days. Paxton is simply jumping on the bandwagon against AI (or is it data centers? Or both?) to try and make himself look good. Hint: it didn’t work. It would really be helpful if there were more unbiased information on both. Unfortunately, it doesn’t exist yet. And the AI pushing people to suicide just shows the need for greater control. Paxton doesn’t give a hoot about this. He’s trying to talk a good game, and *IF* he gets elected (please, by all that’s holy, no), he’s going to conveniently forget about it. He hasn’t done anything positive about this, and his true colors will return.
His opponent, Democratic Texas State Rep. James Talarico, questioned Paxton’s motives and sincerity, pointing out that he had refused to use his authority as attorney general to block data center construction in communities that opposed them, and other critics pointed out that his post was created using AI.
Good one, boyo. It’s not completely surprising because the man only seems to have enough talent to do things wrong, not right. AI seems to be basic enough on the *surface* that anyone could knock out some sort of ad pretty quickly. Even Natalie can do it. Ken probably had someone on his staff take care of it for him. Isn’t that what they are for? Let’s hope they are making a lot of money to put up with this slime. But Ken isn’t doing very well, just in general. Time for a little fun, and then we’ll close.

It seems that Paxton could have done better on that. He used AI because it was faster and neater. He used AI to push for data center control. He used AI because he could. He used AI because he was lazy. No matter the reason, there are enough pictures and art out there that someone could have put together a PowerPoint in a relatively short amount of time. Almost everyone knows how to use it. And it could be popped on a flash drive or emailed for distribution. But overall, suddenly Ken is against AI and data centers when he hasn’t been previously. And AI was used in his statement. Oh, brother.
