Not everyone is as excited as Trump about Trump’s Supreme Court nominee announcement. Especially not red state Democratic Sens. Joe Donnelly (Indiana), Joe Manchin (West Virginia), Heidi Heitkamp (North Dakota), and Doug Jones (Alabama). They were all invited by Trump to attend his announcement at the White House. And they all turned him down.
Looking forward to announcing my final decision on the United States Supreme Court Justice at 9:00pmE tomorrow night at the @WhiteHouse. An exceptional person will be chosen!

I have long heard that the most important decision a U.S. President can make is the selection of a Supreme Court Justice – Will be announced tonight at 9:00 P.M.

In addition to the Democrats, Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Susan Collins (Maine) will also not be attending the event.
The message is clear: Trump will not be able to count on any Democratic votes to get his Supreme Court nominee confirmed. If he wants to destroy Roe v. Wade, he will have to do it with Republican votes (and possibly minus support from Murkowski and Collins) because Democrats are showing zero interest in being a part of the Trump pageant.
