Donald Trump seeks to remake Washington, D.C. in his own image. He wants to not only build his ballroom but he seeks to build the Trump Arch, as a duplicate of the Arc de Triumphe in Paris. Trump’s eye has also been caught by the Eiffel Tower in France and from that he derives his latest big plan to leave yet another eyesore in the nation’s capitol.

The cage fight venue is not anywhere near as appealing as the Eiffel Tower. It would be a total eyesore and next to the White House, no less. It needs to be deconstructed ASAP.

But to Trump it’s a thing of beauty, just like the paving over of the rose garden and the Howard Johnson-esque patio furniture he installed in its place. Not to mention the gold leaf that Trump recently had put on some horse statues. It’s time to review local statutes and see what Trump can and cannot actually erect and leave standing. He won’t stop until he’s made D.C. Mar-a-Lago North.

  1. Heaven forbid, DC could end up with an orange tinted knockoff of the ‘Christ The Redeemer’ statue with you know who’s heathen head perched on its shoulders. Hideous. That’d be icing on the cake in terms of a ‘false idol’ Begs a questioning thought, by extension: what’s his track record on how many of the 10 has you know who already broken, being: worship no other gods, no idols, do not misuse God’s name, keep the Sabbath, honor parents, do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not covet?
