As I warned this morning it appears that the Dotard has given his marching orders and the GOP Congressional horde has coalesced behind a single candidate for Speaker, voting 220-O for the election denying, Trump fluffing, live-birth abortion lie-teller Mike Johnson of Bossier City, Louisiana to take feckless idiot Mike McCarthy’s chair.
I’m convinced that this was the plan all along, starting with Matt Gaetz’s epic punking of McCarthy, and proceeding through the sad dance of the “moderates” – pretending that they would not vote for an election denying abortion-banner.
What a crock.
Their master Trump spoke and they leapt like lemmings from a cliff after hearing it.
Donald Trump does not give a half diaper load about those moderates’ seats in New York and California because he and Johnson have a bigger priority than winning a Congressional majority in 2024, Johnson will be sworn in and just as soon hit the ground running preparing the ground in Congress to steal the Presidential election he and Trump know they cannot win.
Perhaps this is why that in his remarks following the vote, Democratic Leader Jeffries felt it imperative to restate a simple truth – Joe Biden won the 2020 election and is doing a great job.
