Hillary Clinton spoke of deplorables but I don’t think she had any idea that many people fitting that description would soon be seated in the House of Representatives. Who could have foreseen, in 2016, the likes of Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene or George Santos?
Boebert is quite the superstar these days. She’s in Congress to be a performance artist and she relishes the conflict of the House falling apart at the seams, unable to even elect a Speaker under GOP rule.
She made an appearance on MSNBC last night which was quite the joke. Except former congressman Denver Riggleman isn’t laughing.
Her hummingbird blinking at the 36 second mark of this clip is her brain breaking at the question from Stephanie.
Our country is spiraling because many voters choose the very worst people… and as a former member it’s disturbing how lost and ignorant those like Boebert are.

Here’s another clip. I can’t believe Colorado chose to do this to the rest of the country, but they did and no use me crying and tearing my hair out anymore than I have.

Are you all sure that Marjorie Taylor Greene is the dumber of the two? Because after this, I think not.

Here’s the top of the Republican leadership food chain.

He crawls, period. He can’t walk, you need a spine to do that. Not to be petty, but who TF cuts this man’s hair?
Oh, well, back to the trenches, to see how much further this iteration of the GOP can degrade the institution of the House of Representatives and government in general. Thank you Ronnie Raygun for getting this ball rolling.

Oh, Keith Olbermann was PISSED about Boebert’s MSNBC appearance and rightly so. He pointed out that, leaving the political/moral questions aside, that network loses money every time they try appealing to conservatives. I’d add that CNN has run into similar problems doing the same.
As to Boebert being reelected, I agree with Bill Palmer’s proposition that her close reelection scared her. Turns out she’s NOT in the kind of trailer park district Gangrene hails from (hence why the latter was reelected by larger margins). So Boebert knows she needs to change but lacks the brainpower or viable sugar daddy to make it happen. That leaves her in a pretty vulnerable spot going into 2024.
She’s an embarrassment to Colorado. I am glad I don’t live there anymore.
Now, now…perspective. Even with Boebert’s presence, this is FAR less embarrassing than my former haunt in Tennessee. With the exceptions of Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift, TN never makes national headlines unless it’s REALLY bad news.
Colorado has an awesome governor , and is a blue state. It’s a gorgeous place to live. Saying you’re glad you don’t live there is an insult to your Colorado readers. You live in Nevada right? Not in the same league. Sorry Ursula.
Recent Colorado transplant here…and I’m not taking offense because I know Ursula is just frustrated by Boebert’s continued presence. I am too but she’s in a weaker position so not all bad.
And she’ll get paid 340,000 by 2024 by the taxpayers to display her wares. America? Are you that stupid?
Wrong question…the correct one is can you see how afraid she is of it all slipping away right now? Compared to the grand prizes that lay at the end of the conservative pipeline if you play the game right, 340,000 is chickenfeed. Too bad for her the ground has shifted so much that she may never get there.
