I shared yesterday that an informal Twitter poll a few weeks back posed the question, “If you could get rid of only one of these candidates, which one would it be?” The choices were Herschel Walker, Mehmet Oz, Kari Lake and Lauren Boebert.
Results of the poll were Herschel Walker, by quite a margin, followed by Lake, then Oz, then Boebert. We may have a grand slam home run here, only it’s going to take a while to get the votes counted.
Ding dong the Oz is gone. Good riddance. Lake was toast last night, 13 points down. She’s gained some votes but is still trailing. Lake is trailing now at 49.7 to Hobbs 50.3. That is from the New York Times, 7:28 a.m. ET, and I can’t find anything more recent than that.
As to Boebert, she’s down 49.4 to Adam Frisch’s 50.6, at 7:23 a.m. ET. This are races we will be watching all day, it goes without saying.
Just three minutes ago, 9:24 PT, the Warnock race updated. He’s now 49.41 to Walker’s 48.52 with 95% of the vote counted. If he can’t hit 50%, which is what the pundits are betting, this race will go to a runoff.
I suppose it is possible that Boebert and Lake could both pull it out. God I hope not. We’ve had such a good night routing the Republican rubbish, it would be nice to see these two MAGAts go out the door as well.

Unless Senator Warnock picks up the pace, we’ll be doing this interminable crap into December (?).
I wish Rojo and the MTG Kooky Pants went down with Bobo. Guess we can’t have all the good stuff.
Pick it up how? The votes have been cast and still being counted…not quite like a delivery from Amazon. In the meantime, Warnock is ahead and any runoff will land with him staying that way. You want him to stay where he is, help with the runoff in the likely event he doesn’t crack 50%.
I couldn’t agree more! Lake and Boebert has got to go!
BoBo still tailing with 93% in…
She’s done. That redistricting she got caught up in got her good.
