I sure hope that the folks in Wyoming who voted for Harriet Hageman know what a prize bullshit artist they’ve bought for the big rodeo that’s ahead. I have a feeling that they’re in for one hell of a ride.
Hageman hasn’t even left for Washington or been sworn in, but already she’s the subject of controversy and she’s already been caught in one lie and it’s a whopper.
Liz Cheney says she made diligent efforts to contact Hageman election night and finally left a message. Hageman denies that statement at some length on Sean Hannity’s show.

Hageman is a very facile liar, which a lot of politicians are. She’s got the gleaming grin that Kellyanne Conway has. Conway is one of those people who can paint on a smile. For a lot of people, if they arrange their features like a smile, it looks like a grimace. The smile has to come from within, or forget it. Not Conway or Hageman. They just tweak the right muscles and the mask is in place. And mask it is.
Now, Rolling Stone makes a very salient comment: why not just call back? Even if Hageman was telling the truth, and Cheney did leave just a two word message, if Cheney reached out at all, right, doesn’t she deserve the courtesy of a return call?
Evidently the play is to depict Cheney as an embittered loser and a liar. No. Hageman is the liar and a ungracious winner, I might add. Cheney is focused and her crusade goes on.
I foresee a hard time ahead for Hageman. I don’t think she’s fully cognizant of who she got in bed with when she turned MAGA.
On the other hand, she may totally belong there. If this, her first outing as congresswoman-elect is any indication, she may indeed be one of the Ultra MAGA gang, clueless, classless, truth-less.
No doubt, should ehe (heaven forfend) be elected, she’ll come under the tender loving care of Boebert and Greene (just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water)
