That shaking and clinking that you hear is not an earthquake, no it is the sound of ketchup bottles trying to levitate or grow legs, before they are taken out of the cabinet and hurled into the nearest wall.
Another betrayal has happened to Ketchup Man, aka Donald Trump. Yesterday it was Laura Ingraham who deserted the ranks, today it is Alex Jones. The simple truth of all this is that the powers that be in right-wing media, namely the Murdochs, have decided that Trump is history.
What you will see here, get ready for it, is the template for what you are about to see everywhere, every day, as Trumpty Dumpty is pushed off the collective media wall and into oblivion and Ron DeSantis is elevated, Phoenix-like from the yolk on the sidewalk, as the new rising GOP star.

I can’t even believe I’m hearing this.

Trump’s allies and BFFs are going to be flipping faster than pancakes at IHOP, just you watch.
It looks like Trumpty isn’t going to be the 2024 candidate. That might not be okay with him, since he’s looking to fleece MAGA and is doing so as we speak. The Mar-a-Lago raid is a big fundraising ploy, but it’s going to fall short and flop is Ron DeSantis becomes the standard bearer of the party, now isn’t it?
Kinda sorta makes you wonder what Rupert Murdoch knows that the rest of us don’t? Like maybe, what kind of dirt Merrick Garland really has on Trump and how he’s going to the House of Many Doors? Just speculating.
And what I can’t wait for is when Sean Hannity plays Brutus and puts his knife in Trump. What a spectacle that will make.

WOW! Trump is persona non grata, all of a sudden. I try not to spend much time on him or the others of his ilk, but this seems to be awfully quick! I think the whole thing with Merrick Garland and the document fiasco has really hit the fan! FINALLY!!
It is happening fast and you’re going to see it happening faster. The November election has turned into a referendum on Trump — if Trump is still the GOP standard bearer. Now, if he’s not that any more, and the GOP can convey that, then the election can become about attacking Joe Biden, which is what a midterm election is supposed to be, attacking the incumbent. Not defending the GOP standard bearer, which is the way it’s working out now.
Sure, it’s fun to see Jones spout forth his “betrayal” of Trump and I’m sure the temper tantrum Trump threw when he got the news was epic. But I’m not yet convinced Murdoch or his son have made an irrevocable decision to pull the plug on Trump. I still think Ingraham’s little thing on an afternoon podcase was a trial balloon. Afternoon. NOT in the prime-time three hour white power hour that runs every evening on Fox during the week.
I’ve had stuff going on so there might have been blowback without me seeing it. But if there hasn’t been much blowback then we’ll see the REAL test – a trial balloon (wanna bet that as the female Ingraham will again be tasked with sticking her neck on the MAGA chopping block?) in prime time on TV. IF that doesn’t blow up, or the outrage doesn’t last only then will the other two (Hannity and Carlson) receive their marching orders and publicly toss Trump under the bus and jump on the DeSantis bandwagon.
It might actually happen. And FL will turn into a politically nuclear wasteland. Trump won’t take it lying down and will I believe be able to rally enough asshats to give DeSantis (and other Republicans who will be forced to publicly choose) plenty of trouble. DeSantis happens to, as Gov. be in a position to fuck people over but good and ruin lives and careers more than Trump can. And there is ample evidence DeSantis is every bit as vindictive as Trump. Personally I’d enjoy the hell out of these two going at each other like a couple of rats tied in a canvass bag and tossed into the river.
It’s happening slowly but surely. Fox & Friends have rebuked Trump, Ingraham, plus over the weekend there was the news story about the Mar-a-Lago raid and that was basically anti-Trump. And then there’s Alan Dershowitz, who is claiming he defended Trump as a lawyer but voted for Biden. The signs are all there. You don’t need psychic powers to see what’s going on.
I just want to know why Jones is at his “InfoWars” desk when, just last week, the company behind the show was filing for bankruptcy?
I have no clue. My best speculation is that they will continue to make money until the bankruptcy receivers show up to carry pieces of the set off.
😛
The Murdochs pulling their support, Jones backing some other pol, Ingraham, ….yes, I would think that would have an impact. All this hasn’t caused all the magats, and I haven’t even seen evidence of any significant amount of them, to jump ship and leave their beloved turd emperor. If all of these talking heads think former guy is former history, I think they are engaging in wishful thinking.
Now, does this mean trump won’t run or if he run’s, wins? I’m not a prognosticator political or otherwise but I do think if he doesn’t run he’s still going to pull magats and small donations away from the ‘pubes. If he runs and loses the primary he’s going to switch parties or say the primaries were stolen. After all this, should he face another general election and he loses (and he most definitely would), he will stir up another and possibly worse January 6th catastrophe. And really, isn’t that what he wants? I honestly think if he is no longer center stage he will wither up like the witch under Dorothy’s house and he might even know and feel this in his bones.
Losing all these trumpy talking heads won’t make any difference to trump except to give him a reason to rally the magats and keep them at his side.
