I woke up to one hell of a headline on CNN this morning (ok, it was actually afternoon, but morning for me). “Trump’s chilling message to dissenters: Don’t” Yikes! It talks about all the things he is trying to shut down, but there is still hope! Think about the Hands Off! Protests and the ongoing Tesla protests. We are still making ourselves heard and will continue to do so!

Our judges are fearless against the impeachment threats! It was Judge James Boasberg with the answer about the flights, and now Judge Paula Xinis regarding the return of the wrongfully deported husband and father, now in El Salvador, who was specifically protected *against* a return to El Salvador due to gang violence. The Supreme Court somewhat agreed, but Judge Xinis has put on the record that she must be given an update. Every. Damn. Day. The DOJ continues to stonewall for both (you *have* to wonder what they’re hiding) and not give a straight answer. Should be simple, right? One would think! The judges aren’t playing and are getting really tired of the lack of answers. And even if the House tried to bring articles of impeachment onto the floor, there’s no guarantee it would pass there *or* in the Senate. Don’t forget the public reprimand by Chief Justice John Roberts against the impeachment h0 h0 h0.

Agent Orange brags that law firms who assisted his opponents are now lining up to do free work on his behalf. I don’t see them lining up, do you? And there are law firms, like Jenner and Block, who sued over tRump’s efforts to punish them. Just because a few have capitulated doesn’t mean all or even most of them will do so. These people know the law and know that his orders were likely unconstitutional, and a judge agreed. I don’t see anything about him continuing to force them. I’m hopeful that other firms will do the same pushback.

He thinks Miles Taylor should be accused of treason. Oh, please. On the basis that he was part of the ‘resistance’ that at least tried to keep him under some control in his first term? That’s not treason. It’s something that needed to be done! Now Traitor Tot has surrounded himself with sycophants. That also doesn’t mean that *someone* isn’t smart enough to put the brakes on, even in little, subtle ways. We can hope, right? Susie Wiles has one hell of a job these days.

Remember, money talks. The Mango Mandarin Messiah listens to the people with the money. Any number of them have reached out to say you need to stop with this tariff crap. Auto makers are furious. The higher-ups at major news groups are very unhappy. They know he’s driving this country into a recession, and that’s a bad sign for all of them. That’s a small amount of pushback. Okay, it’s regarding money, but El Presidente Imbécil understands that.

How about the DOJ lawyer who told a judge they don’t have a good reason for why the Maryland man was deported? Well, it’s great that someone came out and said the quiet part out loud! He was promptly suspended with AG Pam Bondi saying, “He shouldn’t have argued it, if that’s what he was going to do.” The judge commended him for his honesty since no one else in the DOJ has done *anything* but avoid straight answers. Well, how about this, Pammy? Give the judges an answer, and then you won’t have to worry about such things! I just hope he can keep his law career, even if he has to leave the DOJ. But remember, he *did* provide a straight answer. So that’s another positive!

And there are blogs like this that won’t give up the fight. There *are* things we can do. We can protest, we can push back. We’ve already seen there are some ways to do so. I’ll bet that there are more. We just have to think of them. And we will!

*****And now, please read a very special request from our awesome boss******

Zoomers, we feel guilty asking for cash, but if you can spare a small amount, it will keep us trekking through cyberspace. Many hands make light work, many small contributions add up to enough. And most of all, we thank you for coming here to read. Ursula
