So yeah, this is old news, BUT the responses on Xitter in an article I was reading about it were beyond hilarious! The people of Maine say they support her 100% and Canadians have offered to have the state join them because they know how to treat her (and Maine) correctly. Seems like His Lowness isn’t getting any support now, doesn’t it?

“And they said a woman was too emotional to be a president” Or others that called him “petty”, “pathetic” and said he was “throwing a tantrum”. From Canadians: “We welcome you as our 11th province” and “Maine, come with us honey, we gotchu” Then the really stinging ones “Extortion falls under High Crimes. Correct?” plus “This shouldn’t be how this works. This feels impeachable.”

I think that the only support the Mango Mandarin is finding on this is from his Republicans and sycophants. Oh, yes, can’t forget the oligarchs too, I suppose. The support from the people in her state is fantastic. NO ONE wants her to apologize. No one. That’s some damn good support *from her state*. I believe she finally apologized under threat of losing federal tax dollars for Maine colleges but ohhhh I did not want her to, either, and I’ll take a guess that a *lot* more people outside of her state didn’t want her to, either. She has big ol’ clanking titanium balls and she did NOT collapse under pressure. She stood up and gave as good as she got.

I have been trying to figure out how to copy over some of the Xitter comments from the article I’m reading and am not having any luck. And I don’t twit (hahaha) so I can’t go and find them there. Well, I’ll quote a couple more and give you the link to the article so you folks can see the rest.

“Here’s the thing. Trump is an ass, he’s a bully, and he’s a coward. And he’s always demanding people apologize to him. Because he’s so insecure. So now he wants the Governor of Maine to apologize to him? Nope. Instead she should tell him to f*ck off. And then tell him to grow up.” Uh, oh, better get some ice for that burn!

“King Trump demands an apology from the Governor of Maine because she embarrassed him on national TV by daring to challenge him, and hurting his fragile snowflake ego. Pathetic.”

One last one: “I live in Maine and I know of no apologies. In fact I’ve seen people wearing t-shirts with our Governor on them. In fact our little town had a Trump protest that spanned the bridge over the Sheepscot River.”

I figure you folks might enjoy this. You can find the full story here. Don’t forget to read some of the comments at the end of it!

  1. This story makes me angry. I haven’t seen Trump apologize to anyone. He owes the People of our country untold apologies. For example, his incompetent handling of the COVID pandemic in his first term that resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths that were unnecessary. I could list other examples but most people are aware of them. I pray that we don’t have a bird flu pandemic because many more deaths will occur.

    • It wasn’t intended to make you angry, quite the opposite, but you *definitely* have a valid point. He’ll never apologize. And if I remember correctly, we were on the way to a bid flu vaccine, well on the way, and surprise, surprise, it got shut down along with work at all the other federal agencies that lost personnel. So it’s a very, very small ray of hope because we *are* going to have another pandemic. I’m almost sure of it. tRump is ignoring it. And this on top of all the birds that have already been killed.
