Agent Orange craves Canada – just like Putin craves Ukraine. They closely resemble each other. That’s disturbing. But then he has changed our relationship to align with Russia (grrrr) as opposed to actually mediating between Putin and Ukraine. It’s a shocking change and the rest of the world gets to see that insanity up close and personally.
tRump has pulled us out of WHO. He has pulled us out of the Paris Climate Agreement. I’m hoping someone will stop him from pulling out of NATO. That would be a really, really, really bad step to take. We currently have a military man representing us and he is up top in the agreements for our country. If we pull out we will never get back in with any of the influence we have on the state of the world. We’ll have a voice but that’s about it. We will lose all of the power and influence we have built up over the years that NATO has been around. But I digress.
Putin says Russia and Ukraine were one people – a single whole. The idea of Ukraine being a separate country from Russia doesn’t work for him, as we’ve seen. I think the Ukrainian people would disagree. They are fiercely patriotic and *hate* Russia. Then there’s this. Putin also belittled Ukraine, saying Russia had sent them over $250,000 over 2 decades. DECADES. It looks different when you look at that part. “True sovereignty of Ukraine is possible only in partnership with Russia.” This sounded like—and in a few months would prove to be—Putin’s rationale for seizing Ukraine.
Then, there’s the Mango Mandarin and Canada. It only goes downhill from here. He shares Putin’s view of Ukraine as weak, subordinate, and ripe for annexation. Funny, as long as this war has been going on, it shows the spirit of Ukraine fighting back. Even President Zelenskyy has been out in the trenches, fighting with his people.
I apologize for slipping off-topic for a short while. Let’s move on to Canada. The idea that Canada should be folded into the US is at least 4 years old and Putin mentioned it in a news release. The Orange Sphincter made his intention clear with his first meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Canada brushed it off as a joke, but tRump has the idea stuck in his head and won’t let it go. He keeps pushing and pushing. And he complains that Canada is taking money from the US. “We lose $250 billion a year on Canada,” Trump alleged, misrepresenting both the size and the meaning of the U.S.-Canada trade deficit. “I could stop that in one day. And if I stopped that, Canada wouldn’t exist . . . as a country.” Huh? I don’t THINK so. And here is another claim. On February 9, in his interview with Baier, Trump added another bogus rationale for his threats against Canada. “Canada has a very big car industry. They stole it from us,” Trump lied. Later that day, as he signed a proclamation declaring “Gulf of America Day”, Trump bragged that “with a stroke of a pen,” he could impose economic consequences that “would not allow Canada to be a viable country.” This just gets stranger and stranger. And stranger. Putin and Traitor Tot think practically the same way. Ooof.
To close, I quote – “Trump will never see the war through NATO’s eyes. He sees Ukraine through Putin’s eyes. They’re the same eyes through which Trump stares hungrily at Canada, Greenland, Gaza, and the Panama Canal. They’re the eyes of a predator.”
*****And now, please read a very special request from our awesome boss******
Zoomers, if you can hunt through the sofa cushions for spare change, we could use it. We are in month five of depressed traffic while a depressed nation tunes out. I have every belief that the disenchanted will tune back in at some point and return to the fight but until that happens, the bills keep coming and we need help. Thank you. Ursula

If the people of Ukraine wanted to be part of Russia, they wouldn’t have fought back. And Canada was originally French till the Brits took it from.them. It was never a 14th colony.
